Tropical Storm Fred: Provider Disaster Response Plan Implementation Vaya is assessing the impact on members and services in our region due to widespread flooding from the remnants of Tropical Storm Fred. We request that network providers affected by yesterday’s severe weather notify us as soon as possible if you have experienced any of the following: Enactment of your Disaster Response Plan Offices closed due to flooding Offices closed because staff are unable to get to work Provider staff who have experienced flooding in their homes (include number of staff) Movement of any residents from a residential site to a new site (include number of residents and new site location/s) Need for support in finding temporary shelter for any residents in your care If you have been affected by any of the issues above, please email provider.info@vayahealth.com with as much detail as possible or call 828-225-2785, ext. 1512.
