Q&A Webinar for Vaya Health Network Providers Friday, Sept. 4, 2020, 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. Q&A Webinars for Vaya Network Providers take place every two weeks. Registration is not required. Research-Based-Behavioral Health Treatment (RB-BHT) Rate Increase Vaya recently reviewed our current rates for reimbursement of RB-BHT services and approved a rate increase to align with the N.C. Division of Health Benefits (DHB) published recommended rates for these specific early intervention delivery services. The new rates are effective for claims submitted for dates of service delivered on or after Sept. 1, 2020. Read more: RB-BHT Rates Approved by Vaya Health

COVID-19 NEWS AND UPDATES North Carolina to Move to Phase 2.5 Yesterday, Gov. Roy Cooper announced that North Carolina will take a modest step forward and move into Phase 2.5 starting this Friday, Sept. 4, 2020, at 5 p.m. Mass gathering limits will increase, playgrounds may open and museums and aquariums may open at 50% capacity. Gyms and indoor exercise facilities may open at 30% capacity. Mask mandates and other


prevention methods remain in effect during Phase 2.5. Read more in a news release from the Governor’s Office.

Question, Persuade, Refer (QPR) – Suicide Prevention Web-Based Training Multiple dates through December 2020 Vaya's Provider and Community Education Team will offer free, web-based “Question, Persuade, Refer” (QPR) suicide prevention trainings through December 2020. Trainings will be offered on the second Tuesday (2:30 – 4:30 p.m.) and fourth Tuesday (9 – 11 a.m.) of each month. Each training is limited to 30 participants.
