Coming Soon: Vaya Web Portal on Provider Central Exciting things are happening at Vaya in preparation for the Behavioral Health and Intellectual/ Developmental Disabilities Tailored Plan! This new NC Medicaid Managed Care option will launch April 1, 2023. To better serve you, we will transition to our new web portal on Provider Central for submission of member and recipient information, including enrollments, updates, discharges, service authorization requests (SARs), and claims. The web portal on Provider Central will replace the AlphaMCS portal currently used for submission of member and recipient information updates, authorization requests, and claims as of Dec. 1, 2022. The transition to the web portal on Provider Central includes implementation of a hierarchical structure for organization logins. Each provider organization will identify one systems access administrator (SAA) within their agency. The SAA will be responsible for managing the creation, support, and deactivation of user access to the password-protected sections of Provider Central for users within your organization. Complete the Network Provider SAA Designation Form to provide us with the contact information for your designated SAA no later than Saturday, Oct. 15, 2022. Draft SACOT Clinical Coverage Policy: Provider Feedback Requested NC Medicaid has published the draft Substance Abuse Comprehensive Outpatient Treatment (SACOT) Clinical Coverage Policy and is requesting feedback from providers and stakeholders. The next Peer Learning Community meeting will focus on the importance of self-care during the holiday season.
