Joint Communication Bulletin #J376: Coronavirus Relief Funding for Group Homes Vaya has received one-time funding from the Coronavirus Relief Reserve for allocation to eligible licensed group homes for individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, mental illness or both. For details, please review the Vaya Provider Network Memo, Coronavirus Relief Funding for Group Homes, dated Oct. 9, 2020. Joint Communication Bulletin #J379: Addition of ASAM Requirements for the Comprehensive Clinical Assessment
(CCA) and Diagnostic Assessment (DA) LME/MCO Joint Communication Bulletin #J379 details proposed amendments to Clinical Coverage Policy 8C, Section 7.3.2 (CCA Format) and Clinical Coverage Policy 8A, Attachment D, Diagnostic Assessment (Elements of the Diagnostic Assessment). The amendments will add a requirement beginning in spring 2021 that includes the determination of ASAM Level of Care to assessments of individuals with a substance use disorder diagnosis. This requirement will also be implemented for any Comprehensive Clinical Assessment (CCA) or Diagnostic Assessment (DA) supported by state funds. Please see the full bulletin for further details.
