Q&A WEBINAR FOR VAYA NETWORK PROVIDERS
Correction: NARCAN® Nasal Spray Extended Expiration Dates The manufacturer of NARCAN® Nasal Spray has reversed its previous statement that any brand name NARCAN® product previously released with a 24-month shelf life can now be extended for an additional 12 months. Per the manufacturer, NARCAN® Nasal Spray expiration will change from 24 months to 36 months on newly manufactured products. However, this extension should only be applied to nasal spray units that have not yet been distributed. The extension is not applicable to any product labeled with a 24-month expiration date. The manufacturer recommends following the expiration date printed on the blister pack of any NARCAN® Nasal Spray you have on hand.
