LME/MCO Joint Communication Bulletin #J431 • Update to Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) - Tool for Measurement of Assertive Community Treatment (TMACT) fidelity evaluations. • Updates will: • Reduce the amount of time the fidelity evaluators spend on-site with providers (reduced from 2 full days to 1 and ½ days); • Transition to the electronic fidelity evaluation program (eTMACT) which is a secure web-based software as a service (SaaS) designed to expedite the fidelity evaluation process and enhance rater accuracy and reliability; and • Allow for a more careful review of the documentation submitted in advance of the on-site visit through a remote chart review. LME/MCO Joint Communication Bulletin # J432 • Update to Individual Placement Support (IPS) - Supported Employment Fidelity Evaluations • Updates will: • Reduce the amount of time the fidelity evaluators spend on-site with providers (reduced from 2 full on-site days to 1 full on-site day and 1 full day conducted remotely). • Allow for a more careful review of the documentation submitted in advance of the on-site evaluation through a remote chart review. This will be completed 1 week prior to the on-site evaluation. • Virtual debriefing session will be held following the receipt of the finalized report to provide feedback on strengths and recommendations for future training and improvement. North Carolina Association for People Supporting Employment First (NC APSE) • Offering a no-cost 40hr. Work Incentives Practitioner Virtual Training • Applications are due by Close of Business on 9/23/2022 with a limited # of seats available. There will be a selection process for attending the class and 50% of seats are reserved for IPS Teams. • Participants will receive an intensive, hands on, interactive training session that will cover SSA, the disability programs it administers, the work incentives available to workers, as well as the impact of earnings on other benefits such as housing, SNAP, TANF, and health care.

40hr Work Incentives Practitioner Virtual Training The Work Incentive Practitioner credential will prepare participants to assist individuals who receive benefits from SSA and other federal and state agencies, based on disability, to return to work or enter the work force for the first time. Permanent Supportive Housing Training September 20th, 21st, 27th and 28th from 9 am -1:30 pm • This online training will support CST and ACTT providers by improving their understanding and practice of the Permanent Supportive Housing model. Full attendance and active participation is required for all 4 days (September 20, 21, 27 & 28) to receive the 16-hour credit. • This training is available to CST and ACTT providers within the Vaya, Alliance, and Partners LME/MCO catchment areas.
