Update: Vaya Health Provider Portal • What is the status of Vaya’s Provider Portal? Current active areas of the Provider Portal include User Set-up (for systems access administrators, also known as SAAs), Grievances and Complaints, Documents, and Resources. We will announce new features in the Provider Communication Bulletin as they go live. • When will I begin using the Provider Portal instead of AlphaMCS? April 1, 2023 If you are new to the Vaya provider network and need access to AlphaMCS, please complete the AlphaMCS Login Request Form. Vaya Health | Provider Touchpoint


Update: Vaya Health Provider Portal • How do I access the Provider Portal? Each provider organization will identify one SAA within their agency. The SAA will be responsible for managing the creation, support, and deactivation of user access to the Provider Portal for users within your organization. If you have not designated an SAA for your organization, please complete the Network Provider SAA Designation Form. Vaya issues SAA logins by email after receiving your organization’s SAA designation.

AlphaMCS Login Deactivation On Nov. 21, 2022, Vaya completed an audit of AlphaMCS portal users who had not used the AlphaMCS portal in the previous 90 days. These accounts have been deactivated. If you need to reactivate your account, call Vaya’s Service Desk at 1-800-8936246, ext. 1500, or email servicedesk@vayahealth.com. Please Note: AlphaMCS portal passwords expire after 90 days of non-use.

Member Assignment/Auto-Assignment Issues DHB identified that there were a few issues with the initial member/autoassignment:

• Issue #1-panel misalignment between 'providers historical relationship' & TCM assignment

• Action Step: DHB re-ran member assignment on Nov. 30, 2022, to adjust panel sizes.

QUALITY MANAGEMENT UPDATE


International Day of Persons with Disabilities Dec. 3, 2022 • People with disabilities have generally poorer health, lower education achievements, fewer economic opportunities and higher rates of poverty than people without disabilities. • Over 1 billion people of the 8 billion in the world have some form of disability. • In the US, 61 million adults (26%) live with a disability • 50% of disabled people can’t afford health care • Adults with mental health conditions are at nearly four times the risk of experiencing violence.

International Day of Persons with Disabilities Dec. 3, 2022 • In the United States: • 1 in 3 adults ages 18-44 with disabilities in the US do not have a usual health care provider • 1 in 3 adults with disabilities 18-44 years have an unmet health care need because of cost in the past year • 1 in 4 adults with disabilities ages 45 to 64 did not have a routine check-up in the past year • For fiscal year 2021-2022, there were 43,822 unique individuals served within Vaya’s catchment area. • Since January 2022, 15,000 members average were served per month.
