Vasai - Virar Region
Vasai-Virar city lies on the north bank of Vasai Creek. (VVMC) is that the civic body that water. Since it is settled on the north bank of the Vasai Creek the town includes a large advantage in terms of marine multifariousness. The Vasai creek is home to many species of shes, turtles, and mangroves. Currently the region has also been established as an ICMBA site which is unknown to most of the population. Vasai- Virar has its strength in its coastal belt. Growing population is indirectly leading to illegal activities being practiced on the reserved lands of Vasai-Virar which is home to a diverse array of marine biodiversity. Numerous illegal activities and practices which harm the environment are practiced here. The adverse effects of these practices have been established but the idea of establishing change still needs to strengthen.

ARMONIOUS SCHOOL
THE CONCEPT IS BASED UPON THE VISUAL CONNECTION WHERE THE STRUCTURE IS SEPARATE INTO THREE PARTS BUT INTERACTING THROUGH ONE MOVEMENT.ALL THE STRUCTURE HAS GIVEN ITS OWN SOCIAL SPACE. THE ANOTHER CONCEPT IS OF BRANCHES WHERE ONE BRANCH SPLITS INTO ROOT AND GIVE ACCESS TO ALL THE BLOCKS. THE ACADEMY BLOCK HAS BEEN DIVIDED INTO 3 PARTS SO THAT THERE COULD BE NO KIND OF DISTURBANCE. THE BLOCK HAVE ACCESS THROUGH ONE MOVEMENT WHICH ALSO A SEPERATE SOCIAL SPACES .THIS WILL ACT AS INTERACTIVE SPACES FOR THE STUDENT . THE LEVEL HAS BEEN PROVIDED TO MAKE SPACES LOOK MORE INTERESTING . IT COULD ACT AS RHYTHM ONE MAJOR ACCESS ROUTES HAS BEEN DIVIDE THE BUILDING MAKE IT CONVENIENT FOR ALL THE USER TO ACCESS TO EVERY BLOCK . CIRCULATION COVER HORIZONTAL AND VERTICAL ACCESS...

The campus like a owing river Understanding the semantic of IIM Bangalore through miniature drawings.
The 54,000sq m IIMB complex build on a 100 acre campus is based on the town of fatepur sikhri laid out by Akbar in the 16th century .The architect BV Doshi , achieved this vision by linking a network of corridor, courtyard and external spaces allowing for future extensions. Fatehpur Sikhri’s courtyard and the garden of bangalore merged in B.V. Doshi’s minds eye. He picked up the gardens and put them in the courtyard, and the visions for a global campus was born.
The classroom complex is made disable friendly by providing ramps and lift to access all level The classroom are also disable friendly by keeping the rst row of seat at the same level of corridor. The layout of classrooms and the location of the opening are almed at improving natural air circulation across. The opening are designed with three layered screens which can adopt to the following method of teaching like lectures, projection lecture.
Tropical savanna climate with distinct wet and dry seasons. Adequate humidity and plants grow abundantly. winter temperature rarely drop below 14 degree month in jan with an average low temperature of 15.1 degree celcius and hottest month in April. Flora and Fauna IIMB is one of the major breeding habitats of vultures in the city. The institute is host to a variety of birds like the Rose-ringed parakeets Shikra , reptiles and mammals and birds like Asian koel, Indian paradise, ycather ,woodpecker ,pearl spotted owlet. White throated kingsher , white cheeked barbet , oriental, magpie robin. Indian golden oriole ,southern bird coucal and ower include sunower, marigold etc. The campus sees a large number of Rose sterling birds migrate to the campus during March-April. The aim as said by B.V. Doshi, was an atmosphere where you don't see divide and doors.
The design therefore conserve energy-human or mechanical, optimizes technologies, adopt innovative ways of building and uses alternative material. Three storied hallways, open quandrangles with ample area for greenery a rough textures nish are the unique features of this glocal design. The voids in the structure lets in the fresh air from the green surrounding. The people and geometrical roofs let in the controlled sunlights creating a dramatic effect and eventually avoiding the excess heat from entering in.
