PN 16 FLANGED GLOBE VALVE (FAF 2100) Please follow the instructions below for maintenance and cleaning of FAF 2100 Globe Valve DISASSEMBLY: 1) Please make sure that there is no flow in the pipeline. 2) Remove the nut (12) take out the washer and separate the handwheel from the body. 3) Using cross loosing remove the bolts (15) connecting body and the bonnet. Separate the bonnet (8) from the body. 4) Untighten the bolts (14) of compression nut (7) and remove the stem (10) by turning downwards 5) Remove the pin (4) connecting the disc (3) and the stem, separate the disc from the stem. 6) Remove the bolts of compression nut (7) and separate the compression nut from the bonnet. 7) Remove the packing (6) from the bonnet. 8) Remove the graphite ring between the body and the bonnet.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING: 1) Lubricate the cast iron nut and stem in order to eliminate friction. If they’re operating too tight please replace the nut. 2) Please visually check possible damages on the stem, where it has contact with the liquid. If this part is damaged, the stem needs to be replaced. If there’s sediment or dirt on the stem, please clean it with emery no: 400 (water) and water. After cleaning lubricate the stem with lubricating grease. 3) Please make sure that there’s no sediment or dirt on the seat (2), if the seat is not clean please clean it with emery no: 400 (water) and water. 4) Please make sure that there’s no sediment or dirt on disc side which it contacts with seat. If the disc is not clean please clean it with emery no: 400 (water) and water. 5) The gasket (5) between the body and the bonnet can be supplied from our company. You can replace this gasket with a 2mm Klingrit gasket having proper size.
ASSEMBLY: 1) Place the graphite gasket in its place on body 2) Place the packing set 3) Place the compression nut and fix it with its bolts 4) Combine the disc and the stem. Place the pin between these two to fix the disc to the stem. 5) Place the stem to the bonnet by turning upwards. 6) Place the bolts connecting the body and the bonnet, cross-tighten the bolts. 7) Place the handwheel, locate the washer and tighten the bolt. 8) Please check once again if the bolts of the pressure nut have been tightened properly in order to avoid leakage.
