ABOUT THE PROGRAM Since its conception, the program has seen thousands of children, young people and adults graduate through its program and perform at the Fairfield Halls, Croydon. The event is the brainchild of John Fisher, a MOBO award nominee and multi award winning vocal tutor, musician, producer, choir director, and respected gospel music personality. The event was set up to give amateur performers the chance to perform at a very high standard, supported and trained by professional tutors and musicians. Over the 10 years the event has seen schools represented from across London with MOBO, UGA and GMA award winning artists performing as guests. The event has also been able to attract musicians who have played with George Michael, Lilly Allen, Mica Paris, Boyzone, West Life to name a few. The lead up to the festival sees John and his experienced team of tutors and musicians go into schools, after school clubs, churches and community centres to train up the singers over 10 weeks, preparing them not only to sing, but allowing the children to enjoy solo singing, harmony singing, fun games like the X factor 6 chair challenge.

10 Years & Counting Over the past 10 years, award winning musician and music mentor, John Fisher and his skilled team of tutors have been working with children of all ages. Together, they have successfully impacted the lives of thousands of children from the ages of 6 years and upwards, from communities throughout London, the home counties and beyond.
Musical Inspiration We Sing U Sing’s flagship event is the Summer Song Music Festival, which is now in its 10th year. John and his Team have been conducting weekly workshops with children who don’t have all the privilege other children of the same age may have. These activities give them a sense of pride, hope, love and a chance to express themselves in singing and playing instruments.
A 500 piece children’s choir The event runs from 27th, 28th and 29th of June 2017 at the Open Door Venue, London SE19 2TE The children will have a full professional 8 piece band playing behind them including brass section and also the Internationally known IDMC gospel choir The event is well attended and attended by members of the public, media contacts, community leaders, school officials and participants' friends and family.
