Velar Jewellery Velar is evolving Ukrainian-Russian jewellery brand. The first collection was launched in December 2010 for Atelier1 concept store as a part of the Collectif project. The first international foray for Atelier1’s was a concession in Dover Street Market, London. Velar uses silver, frosted and smokey quarzes, white and champagne topazes and granats. All flowers and twigs of high quality are handmade in Ukraine or in the South Urals, Russia. We use delicate polish for the shapes of flowers and animals, and learn from natural textures while creating our elaborated pieces.
Inspiration Our inspiration arouses from elegant ink-drawing and shining poetry of Asian artists, which take it’s roots from the time when the most sensational art theory was created. You cannot see the beauty of the flower if you are not in love with the flower, and your brush can be graceful only when you feel grace. The technical skills is only a part of the procces, another part is hapiness and beauty.
