Design Direction Octophant is creature half octopus, half elephant. This is home decor brand with a love story behind it. The love story has been turned into a foldable book, wall prints, motivational cards, coasters, pillows, and hand bag. The color and style of illustration gives off a light and airy, underwater, beach theme with its hand drawn illustrations and watercolor. The home decor brand is geared mainly towards women but for anyone who wants to fill their home with love, hope, or just that beachy feeling.

Design Direction This campaign’s goal is to spread the word about a contest held by Skullcandy Headphones. The audience is age group 16-25, active teenagers to young adults that use music in their active lifestyle. Social media plays a big role in the contest. Uploading to social media is required to enter the contest. Skullcandy’s profile will also be reposting on their social media to gain followers and awareness of the contest.

Design Direction Honey Bee Bakery is set in Ashburn, Va as a family run bakery. The majority of their ingredients come from local farmers and by not using a lot of processed sugar their goods are naturally sweet. The purpose for this project is to create a logo, menu, and a package design unique to their bakery. The logo has a playful font that flows like the honey they use to sweeten up their baked goods. The golden yellow color keeps with the honey theme and a rich chocolate brown is added to accent it. The logo is topped with a cherry to make it complete.

Design Direction The band is a mix of alternative hip hop with a little bit of rock. Their audience is 15 years of age to early 30’s ranging from both male and females. They are local and have mostly been underground. This is their first recorded album. In this project a personal identity has been created with matching components. The purpose of the shirts, posters, and patches are all to help promote their album. The illustrations all represent and play along with their self titled album Playful Nightmare. They are hand drawn nightmare-ish creatures with light colors to add in the playful accents.

Design Direction Spirit Animal is a brand of beer with a fun and clever side. The audience is 21 to mid 30’s. Each beer is tied to an animal and has the reasoning description on the back of each bottle. Along with the package design, there is merchandise and advertising.

Design Direction House Bogies is an edutainment app for children between the ages of 3-8 years old for both boys and girls. Bogies are fictional creatures that used to live in the wild but recently found a new home in a tree house. They need a little help figuring somethings out in the new house and thats where the child comes in. He/She will pick a Bogie to take care of, help it eat, bath, sleep, etc. Points will be earned for everything the child helps their Bogie with. They can also earn points by playing games. Once they earn enough points, they can go into the Bogie’s closet and “purchase” accessories for their Bogie. House Bogies and children will have fun playing together while learning at the same time. If that weren’t enough, their funny mumbles, grumbles, and noises will put a smile on anyone’s face

Design Direction This is a branding project with designed merchandise and components. Hazard is a skateboard company the designs skateboards and other merchandise. The audience is mainly male but can appeal to the female audience as well. The inspiration and color is taken from 80’s style. The illustration style is gruesome but has a playful twist.
