Editorial Yes, stubbornness is a quality of Chavism, and nothing has to do with the desire to "perpetuate itself in power" as local and international antichavism has banalized for 20 years. There was already talk of stubbornness in La Porfía that Florentino held before El Reto del Diablo, we had already been called to stubbornly embody that battle far from the religious, Chavez defined it back in 2004 with the simplicity that frames a fight of good against bad, it turns out that for us, politically, it has never stopped being Saint Agnes.

A week has passed since Venezuelans felt the effects of the greatest aggression against life on their skin. Gone is the imagined, the eternal warning in the voice of Chavez about imperialism, its power, its plans and its desire to come for us. This time it was real, and even the most elaborate evasion attempt cannot prove otherwise.

THE LATEST REVELATIONS OF CNN AND NEW YORK TIMES Both events had taken place as always, with the questioning of the official versions, and in many opportunities both NYT and CNN, as well as other large communication corporations, have disseminated the matrices that end up hiding and distorting the details surrounding these events. . In this sense, it is necessary to remember how CNN itself reviewed the assassination attempt.

Two important revelations have taken place. None of them benefits the Venezuelan opposition or the Trump Administration. Its importance lies in the line that has traditionally been in these media with respect to Venezuela, but also for the importance in the narrative change that implies, especially, the reasons for the background that originates. The New York Times (NYT). "Humanitarian aid", which on last February 23, tried to violently enter Venezuela from the border with Colombia. According to the NYT article, citing USAID officials, that truck contained neither medication nor food, as it had projected at the time of the incident. The second case comes from the CNN chain. His correspondent in Colombia revealed exclusive information, including videos, on the planning, training in Colombia and the execution of the attempted assassination with drone bombs against President Nicolás Maduro in August 2018. In summary, CNN recognizes it. The Venezuelan state at the moment of the frustrated assassination: the United States and Colombia will know the antecedent and lend support to its executors. The publication of NYT and CNN, in turn, has had an adverse effect on Venezuelan journalism: it has undermined its credibility as information professionals. And just remember, for example, the owners of the Cocuyo Effect medium after these events: 3

On the other hand, the most visible political counterpart, at this time, the figure of Donald Trump, the Democratic senator Bernie Sanders, favorite at the moment for the Democratic candidacy in the face of the presidential 2020. Sanders in previous years was declared "socialist "and, in his address to the nation this year, Trump said that" the United States will never be a socialist, "trying to translate the ideological confrontation as a vehicle and thematic axis into the presidential campaign. Something unprecedented in the politics of that country.

THE DISASSEMBLY OF NARRATIVES These events were once banalized as "assemblies" by different political and communicational actors of antichavism inside and outside of Venezuela. From OAS Secretary General Luis Almagro to Donald Trump's national security adviser, John Bolton, they did not wait for these affirmations. Specifically in the case of the assassination attempt on the President, Boltono has realized that this has been a "montage" of Maduro and that it has been used as an excuse to exercise arbitrary actions against leaders of the Venezuelan opposition. On the other hand, several Venezuelan journalists, both in the attempt of assassination, and in the issue of trucks on international bridges, have contributed to the construction of the narrative adverse to the denunciations of the Venezuelan government.

For the various American media, the imperialist line, but aligned with the Democratic Party, the adverse positions and the current management in the White House have not been expected on all issues. From the moment in which the Trump border wall was frustrated to the issue of the departure of the United States from agreements on climate change. In all aspects of internal politics, Trump is grappling with accusations and answers at the hands of not only his political adversaries, but now his opponents in the communication framework.

Now, with the fact that these media corroborate the denunciations made by the Venezuelan government, these voices are completely out of whack. VENEZUELA POLARIZES THE AMERICAN POLITICS In short, we can not speak of a change of editorial line found in the NYT and CNN funds with respect to Venezuela and the Presidency of Nicolás Maduro. However, the new publications of those media in question can only be explained by the theater of operations of American politics.

The explanation of the background of these events and the struggle of elites that nowadays to the policy of the United States since the rise of Trump. A struggle that has confronted internal interests and in Trump's own hand has meant regressions to the designs imposed by the traditional establishment. Thus, in this sense, it will be understood how it will be understood, how it will be understood, and how it will be understood. favorable to the democrats, before the presidential campaign, where the Venezuelan issue is one of the main critics.

This means that the issue of Venezuela is polarizing US policy as an input in the positions for and against the figure of Donald Trump. In the context, foreign policy focused on Venezuela as a way to measure the "success or failure" of the State Department's policy and the White House's management on the Latin American front, which in the case of Venezuela is very propagated in the public opinion of that country.

www.misionverdad.com

In his speech on the State of the Nation this year, and also at the University of Florida, Donald Trump has extended the aggression of the plant in Venezuela, now against Cuba and Nicaragua, named by John Bolton as "The Troika of Evil "In the continent.

“WE ARE LYING TO PUSH US TO WAR AGAIN!” I was 23 years old when we invaded Iraq, and I was not sure it was based on lies, but something very deep in me, right behind the spleen, told me that it was based on lies. Something like if your blind date appears and you realize you have a folding phone 2004. It seems vaguely worrying, and none of the explanations it can provide will reassure you. In addition, any other person who acts as if it were normal also becomes suspicious.

The main media and almost the entire government of the United States tell us that Juan Guaidó is the "interim president", even though he was never elected to that position and the current President is still leading the government and the military. Venezuela. So I guess this "interim" is the time when Guaidó is nobody and the moment he becomes nobody again, but now he tells women at parties: "You know, I used to be interim president".

The invasion of Iraq seemed a lie to me. And it turned out that he was right, that it was a lie, and that the entire mainstream media and our government were wrong or lying and, most of the time, both.

The main media also inform us that the Venezuelan military set fire to trucks with US aid, when the video shows the opposition forces doing it. In addition, the idea that Venezuela receives "aid" from the country whose sanctions are crushing it would be as if Standing Rock Sioux accepted gift packages from the teams that drill their territory to bet the Dakota Access pipeline. Unless the boxes are filled with industrial paper towels to help clean up oil spills, I do not see how it could be beneficial. Sometimes, in fact, you have to check the teeth of the gift horse (or should I say "dog gift").

Now our government and our media are doing everything possible to get us into another war, this time with Venezuela. They tell us that the Venezuelan people are desperate for basic necessities like toothpaste, while independent journalists show lots of affordable toothpaste in Caracas. And even if they did not have toothpaste, this does not seem to be a good reason for the United States to begin to drop our bad long-range decisions on the heads of innocent people. Turning a city into an impact crater for the sake of a battle to stop gingivitis seems a bit extreme.

This is not the first time that our government and our media have conspired to drag the American people into war with another country, or have helped create a coup that will inevitably have disastrous results. So I thought that this would be an excellent time to go through the four best hits. 5

NUMBER 4: THE HISPANIC-AMERICAN WAR

It is right. Never happened. Like the goblins or the dragons or the talent of Simon Cowell, it was a product of our national imagination.

This is widely regarded as the birth of the propaganda of modern media, because it was the first war that, in fact, the media began. The newspapers fabricated atrocities in the endless search for more readers.

The lies of our government, followed by the servile and credulous reporting of our media, led to the death of 58,000 members of the service of the United States and up to 3.8 million Vietnamese.

And as The New York Times pointed out: "The sensationalist report of the sinking of the American battleship Maine in the port of Havana on February 15, 1898 ... and the other scandalous reports that led to the Spanish-American war could have been considered simple cartoons if it had not led to a major international conflict. "

The government of the United States has one of the most powerful Manufacturing and Forgery Departments of all time. It is a modern marvel on par with the Great Pyramid of Giza and the right-hand parallel of Rafael Nadal.

I think maybe The New York Times confused that quote with the statement of its mission: "Caricaturingly leading the United States to a major international conflict since 1851!".

NUMBER 2: THE WAR OF IRAQ Of course, there is the most obvious lie about Iraq, namely, that Saddam Hussein had so many weapons of mass destruction that he often used one to reach

NUMBER 3: THE VIETNAM WAR

hard-to-reach places while he was in the bathtub. But that was not the only lie shown to carry out the complete annihilation of the sovereign nation that Saddam ruled. There were others, such as the idea that Saddam was connected to al-Qaeda and perhaps played a role in the September 11 attacks. William Safire wrote in The New York Times in May 2002: "Mohamed Atta, destined to be the main suicide hijacker on September 11, met at least once with Saddam Hussein's spy chief at the Iraqi embassy, according to reported last autumn the Czech intelligence. "

Of course, almost everyone knows that the catastrophic Vietnam War was precipitated by the incident in the Gulf of Tonkin, in which evil torpedo boats from North Vietnam fired on US naval ships. After that skirmish, Defense Secretary Robert McNamara recommended that President Johnson take reprisals, and so the Vietnam War began. But most Americans still do not know there was not an incident in the Gulf of Tonkin, unless you consider the United States Navy's ships literally shooting at weather events they saw on the radar. The 2003 documentary The Fog of War finally revealed the truth. Former Defense Secretary Robert McNamara confessed that the attack on the Gulf of Tonkin did not really happen.

Yes, Safire was able to polish a lot of crap so thoroughly that it would shine like a sapphire. And that column is still on the Times website, without correction, or 6

a year before the forces Americans will unleash a reign of terror for the Iraqi people. His memo on the war with Iraq read: "How to start? Does the United States discover Saddam's connection to September 11 or anthrax attacks? Or maybe a dispute over inspections of weapons of mass destruction?" . I'm not sure what's the most surprising: that this memo exists or that it seems that the Bush boys planned a large-scale international war in the same way that a ruined son of 35 years outlined his bad novel convinced that it is his ticket exit from his mother's basement.

retraction. I would say that the Times is only useful to cover the bottom of a bird cage, but I am afraid that the newspaper could lie to your cockatoo for a badly advised invasion, killing millions. But the propaganda did not even stop there. There were also anthrax attacks after 9/11. Anthrax was sent by mail to media and politicians' offices. To this day, many people still believe that it had something to do with Iraq or al-Qaeda because of an award-winning national shame like Brian Ross.

"How to start a horrible bloody war? Maybe Saddam was found in the light of the moon as a porn star?"

"Brian Ross of ABC News wrote: 'The anthrax in the contaminated letter sent to Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle was blended with Bentonite' and 'Bentonite is a registered trademark of Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein's biological weapons program. As Salon clearly expressed it, "all these objective statements (...) were completely false, demonstrably and unquestionably" (...) However, neither ABC nor Ross have retracted, corrected, clarified or explained these fraudulent reports. "

The point is that multiple completely false stories laid the groundwork for an invasion of Iraq that left more than 1 million people dead.

NUMBER 1: THE BOMBARDEO OF SYRIA President Bashar al-Assad gassed his own people, thus guaranteeing greater US interference, and he did so only a few days after Donald Trump told the Pentagon to start withdrawing troops from Syria. At least, that's the story that the corporate media repeated in a loop for at least a month, just pausing every 10 minutes to try desperately to let us all buy more stuff with "baconator" in the name or the search for a penis more hard.

And, as expected, after that blatantly false report, Brian Ross did not lose his job. In fact, he was not removed from ABC News until last year, when he "reported that the fired national security adviser, Michael Flynn, was ready to testify that Trump told him to get in touch with the Russians during the campaign." That report, like the rumors about Brian Ross's journalistic integrity, turned out to be absolutely false.

So, are we supposed to believe that Assad did the only thing that would assure greater interference by the United States just as he was about to win his war? It's something like, when I'm about to win a pulse competition, I repeatedly pinch my eyes. You know, just to keep it exciting.

(In my professional opinion, anyone who has had anything to do with selling, perpetrating or planning the Iraq War should never again hold a higher position than the assistant apprentice of the type who collects the excrement of a dog that does not belong to nobody and nobody cares, if that position does not exist, we, as a nation, should create it only for this moment, however, despite my objections, Robert Mueller (FBI chief at the time of the invasion and a A great supporter of her) leads the largest investigation in the country, John Bolton, who advocated the invasion of Iraq since the 1990s, is now national security adviser Bill Kristol, who pushed the war and said it would last two months, He is now a regular panelist on MSNBC, and the list goes on.)

The famous journalists Seymour Hersh and Robert Fisk have done a great job in showing that the chemical attacks never happened, but there is a new update. Just two weeks ago, a producer of the BBC came forward and said that scenes of chemical attacks were recorded in Douma, Syria. His tweet said that after six months of investigations, he can prove that there were no deaths in the hospital. However, our relentlessly inept American media, with little or no evidence, ran saying, "There was a chemical attack! Those poor people! And they do not have toothpaste either! We must bomb them to help them!"

Unlike Secretary of Defense McNamara, who admitted that the incident in the Gulf of Tonkin never happened, we do not have a smoking gun that demonstrates that the Bush administration created these lies to take us to Iraq. Oh wait! It turns out that the paper shredder in the Bush Oval Office was on strike for a higher minimum wage in 2002, and in fact, we have a memo written by Bush's defense secretary, Donald Rumsfeld,

The main point here is that we have replaced our media with stenographers of the ruling elite a long time ago. The ruling class comes up with a lie to fabricate American consent for their war crimes and that lie is sprinkled layered over all average American citizens. This continues until some average citizen questions the lie and is 7

seen as having two heads and one of them is covered in rat droppings.

On the inside of Wolf Blitzer's eyelids, the phrase "Must Defend the Matrix" ashes red.

For the "journalists" who spray the best lies across the country, prizes, private jets and rooftop drinks await them with celebrities of the middle level like Chuck Norris. Now we are getting to the point where the real rulers, the Trump administration, etc .; they do not even hide their corruption. John Bolton told Fox News that the ultimate goal is to steal Venezuela's oil. But our media continue to promote the propaganda directive. Even after Bolton said that, you will not see Anderson Cooper or one of the great wizards of Fox News saying: "Venezuela is suering a blow backed by the United States because we would like to steal its oil." It is really confusing that the corporate media protect propaganda even after the "leaders" have revealed their true and sinister intentions.

The propaganda directive for Venezuela at this time is: "We want to help the poor Venezuelans." Well, if you want to help them, then keep the United States away. Do not force them to have anything to do with the country in which emerged the self-service fried food served in a bucket and opioids in nasal sprays. At no time is anyone looking at the presidency of Donald Trump and thinking, "Wow, that country really has things settled, I hope they bring something of their great capacity to our door." VENEZUELA EXPELS US DIPLOMATS: POMPEO'S JUGGLERS recognized as deputy Juan Guaidó "interim president," Pompeo omitted the foreign minister's decision and then made it clear that it was his decision.

On the night of March 11, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo announced on his Twitter account the decision to withdraw the remaining diplomatic personnel of the United States in Venezuela. According to the official, the decision reflects the "deterioration" of the Venezuelan situation and that the presence of diplomats implies a "restriction" of US policy.

As reported by journalist Anya Parampil, on January 26, after the self-proclamation of Guaidó, the Venezuelan government gave a window of 30 days to open a negotiation channel and open an office of interest between both nations. However, the US policy of constant aggression has reversed these efforts. A pattern of behavior similar to that of the German government last week. After the Venezuelan government expelled his ambassador, Daniel Kriener, for committing acts of interference in the internal affairs of Venezuela, Germany called him to consult, in an attempt to project that Kriener's departure was due to a unilateral decision and not to an express order from the Venezuelan government, as indeed it happened.

In the midst of the recovery of the national electricity system after the sabotage of March 7 and 8, this message from Mike Pompeo sought to generate tension while the action presupposes that violent actions and chaos, which would jeopardize the security of US diplomats, they would be planning against Venezuela. However, Mike Pompeo's decision was not such. In the afternoon, Foreign Minister Jorge Arreaza, personally informed the American Charge d'Affaires, James Story, of the decision not to extend the diplomatic staff's stay in the country, giving a 72-hour time limit to leave, due to the risks that suppose national peace.

With this act of balancing Mike Pompeo, there are three bracelets that diplomatically have undermined the international credibility of Juan Guaidó and strengthen the recognition of Maduro. The first was the failed visit of a delegation of MEPs of the European far right, the second the expulsion of Kriener, and the third, logically, the expulsion of American diplomats that Pompeo tried to pass as their own decision on their social networks. Terrible situations for Juan Guaidó, who tries to convince the international community that effectively "governs" in Venezuela.

Mike Pompeo made public believe that he was withdrawing his staff, when in reality, in light of what was said by the Venezuelan foreign minister, he was complying with the decision of the Nicolás Maduro government. Knowing the political cost involved in accepting it publicly, understanding that Washington 9

In turn, Pompeo's confusion strategy shows how Washington is progressively weakening its foreign policy resources, leaving only brute force before Guaidó's inability to break the FANB's command unit in order to remove Chavismo from power. The impossibility of achieving that overthrow by way of a surprise attack on the national electricity system is another sign that the correlation of forces, the momentum that Bloomberg spoke of, that pressure in escalation that should result in a political change to force, it reverts against the very head of US foreign policy.

But the departure of US personnel has other implications. From the outset, it cuts direct communication and sources of funding and advice that would be being provided to the anti-Chavez leadership that commands the local front of regime change. On the other hand, it forces an escalation of pressures (financial and even military) that have not benefited Washington, let alone Guaidó, to such an extent that the agenda of financial asphyxia and military intervention for "humanitarian reasons" has been severely challenged by renowned media such as The New York Times, but also in international spaces such as the OAS and the UN Security Council.

THE TRAP OF THE ENERGY TOWARDS COMMUNAL ENERGY MANAGEMENT When, in the 30s of the last century, the company CADAFE came to the town of Bailadores, in Mérida, to bring the scoop of electricity (a matter that was known in few towns in Venezuela), the inhabitants laughed. For them that was not a scoop; For several years a son of that town, by the name of Luis Zambrano, had lit his house and put his metallurgical workshop to work with a turbine moved by the water, and designed and manufactured by himself. That same compatriot, a peasant who evidently has not been talked about enough, or who has not stopped in the country the slightest ball, he gave the people of Canaguá a public lighting system that worked for 30 years, from the from the 40s to the 70s, and it is still operative today and keeps a few bulbs lit. I repeat: we are talking about events and people from the 30s of the twentieth century. Does anyone have a single explanation about why, almost a century later, and with the country full of technologists and engineers (in addition to raw material counted in thousands of tons) we do not have a country full of electric generators? In Venezuela, there are thousands of Local Supply and Production Committees (CLAP) that exist or are registered at least. You do not have to be very clever to realize that it is time (or a while ago the time has come) to create and organize in the country the CLEE (Local Electrical Energy Committees). And why, if they have repaired the Guri and everything is normalizing? Ask what you have to answer with a single slap. Because a slapping is teaching history the fundamental thing of expression and the idea of Independence. You are not independent because you sign an act that says you are independent. You will be independent when you demonstrate in the facts that you do not depend on anyone (and much less on your enemy) to move and subsist.

THE GIANT BOBO THAT WE DEPEND ON The definitive independence of Venezuela happens, inevitably, to eliminate our energy dependence, and that will only be possible if we find local solutions to replace the fragile monster based on the Guri dam. The day that we run the national chain the demolition of the Guri dam and the country continues to function, that day we can say with a little more property that we are an independent country. "We are attacked by the Guri system, are severely disabled or damaged, and three quarters of the country runs out of energy. Food, water, communications, fuel, cities, suddenly become unfeasible, difficult to reach or put to work. 11

"We are attacked by the Guri system, are severely disabled or damaged, and three quarters of the country runs out of energy. Food, water, communications, fuel, cities, suddenly become unfeasible, difficult to reach or put to work. I used some quotes in the previous paragraph. No, the Guri is not ours, it is not Venezuelan, it does not belong to our people or our class. It was built like this, elephantine, stupid, monstrously dependent, to be able to tame it. Who can tame the Guri? Well, the same ones that designed and manufactured it. It is a technological complex built by a class (the hegemonic class) and a world view (industrial capitalism), so it never will belong entirely to the humble people, much less to the country and much less to a socialist project. If centralizing the largest source of energy nationwide became a problem, or was born as a problem, the simplest logic indicates that decentralizing and democratizing energy would be the solution, or one of the solutions. It might make sense that the Guri feed the eastern part of the country, including the devouring monster or energy reconverter that are SIDOR and the basic industries, but do the Andean states really need the stability of a reservoir located more than a thousand linear kilometers to get electricity? Trujillo is next to Mérida and Barinas, and only 30% of its power supply depends on the Santo Domingo reservoir, located more or less on the border of those neighboring states. The other 70% comes from Guri. A city like Boconó depends entirely on Guri. Boconó is that town at whose feet one of the most torrentuous rivers in the western part of the country, the Burate River, runs wild. Why is it impossible or even difficult to build an electric generator in that place? Caracas is probably one of the most dramatic cases of waste of energy, because of a nonsense originating in the water supply. Just over 70% of the water consumed by Caracas, at an average height of 900 meters above sea level, comes from a source located 300 meters above sea level; the Camatagua reservoir, in Aragua, is also located 100 kilometers away. Bringing water to Caracas involves mobilizing many thousands of liters of water every day through electric pumping. Is Caracas viable as a sociohistorical construction? Theme to be discussed later (after several blackouts and more droughts). Regionalize energy management? How about a great energy source by state? And why not rather deepen

and massify the management of energy to the municipal, communal, neighborhood and even house to house levels?

TOWARDS COMMUNAL ENERGY MANAGEMENT A rebellion consists in departing from the system. A Revolution consists of moving and destroying the system. To conform to the system or perfect it is pure reformism. The enemy has just given us a taste attacking the almost unique source of electric power in Venezuela, the almost sole generator of current, and here we still have suffering, trying to recover from the blow. I would like to see the enemy trying to disable each one of the millions of generators built, maintained and managed by communities, blocks, buildings, families. These generators would not be computerized, nor would they depend on servers created and controlled by hegemonies. Let the gringos or NATO come or the nature or the force or power that is, to disable 5 thousand active generators in Caracas, one in each block, or 2 million generators in all Venezuela. And what does it take to make a generator or to put it to work? To manufacture it, parts and pieces that are already manufactured are needed: accumulators, dynamos, alternators, coils or capacitors. To make it work, you only need something that is free and left over on the planet: movement and sources of movement. The Ministry of University Education, Science and Technology has a detailed list of popular living technologists in Venezuela, with their telephone numbers and addresses. It is time to give that list something more than the institutional use, consisting of summoning these people to an annual meeting to talk about their inventions or ideas. In Barquisimeto (37th Street, near Venezuela Avenue) I had a few months ago to go to a turner with a mechanical problem that threatened to leave the car inoperative due to lack of resources; the bug was damaged by the oil pump, and that's serious. Very serious and very expensive. In another Venezuela, that of abundance, the mechanics recommended one go buy another oil pump and anyone does not have what to pay for that part. I explained the situation to the turner and asked him, almost without hope, if it was true that this piece is impossible to redo it, if I should go to dock a bank to buy another. He replied: "Look mate, if that piece was made by an extraterrestrial then I may not be able to do it, but if it was made by another man like me, then I'll 12

What complex or esoteric step must be materialized from that simple act to connect those chains and pulleys to a generator or dynamo, from there to an accumulator and from there to the devices that we want to put to work? Do not the small dynamos that light the bulb already exist for a solitary cyclist to light the way?

make it for you, come by here tomorrow at 2 o'clock in the afternoon." The piece came out in a tenth of what it would have cost me to buy it again, and it's already going for 60 thousand kilometers of mobilizing me everywhere. But beyond the practical result and the saving of the cents, what raised my morale, more than any slogan, song or speech of Chavez or Che, was the attitude of that son of this town: if it is human, it CAN, do not fuck

The corporal strength of hundreds or thousands of people would perform here the task of the Andean rivers that served Luis Zambrano to make his small but monumental revolution. Through this logic, a human being could become the source of electricity in a house, or two. Multiply that person by the amount they want. I, who am a slack and at age is showing me a few bills, could put enough pedal to put a phone charge and light a couple of bulbs. Think of a million citizens; When the enemy wants to come and perpetrate another national blackout, they will have to neutralize or assassinate a million people. Will that be easier or harder than disabling a giant booby like the Guri system?

Energy is not created from nothing or returns to nothing. One of his laws says that energy is not destroyed, it is transformed. It takes a quantity of potential energy to convert it into electrical energy. As the system and the paradigm that has encrusted us massively is Guri then we could tend to believe that only the energy of the water in motion can produce electricity, but we already know of all the generating experiences: solar, wind, nuclear, for fuel, diesel (how thermoelectric works) Caracas does not have large courses or waterfalls close enough; It does not mean that you can not or should not look for alternatives. There is an option that is difficult to understand why it has not been overcrowded: anyone refines the view and can see crowds of citizens who do not find in what to invest their body energy and decide to invest it in the important mission of burning fat and have a slender figure or athletic. They pedal, jog, lift weights, move devices that challenge and shape their muscles; they do exercises.

Local Electrical Energy Committees: when is that first neighborhood or family meeting? It is not too late to formulate these concerns, nor to materialize concrete experiences. This should not be a work of government management, but a massive act of the people.

www.misionverdad.com

Take the count of the number of kilocalories that "burn" those people, and imagine all that energy converted into electrical energy. It is not impossible and even difficult: there are already news of gyms in which the hard-working athlete moves from the bicycles a set of pulleys and chains that go to cereal mills: body energy converted into food.

IMPACTS OF ELECTRIC SABOTAGE: AN APPROACH FROM INSIDE President Nicolás Maduro reported that the electrical attack, which interrupted the service in most of the country, consisted of four phases: A cyber attack against the computerized system at the Guri Hydroelectric Power Plant, which directs and self-regulates the entire process of generation and distribution of the country's main plant. "The screens were black, the driving map was lost, so we stayed more than 36 hours," said the President. Another attack on the computerized system of the driving brain of the state-owned electricity company Corpoelec located in Caracas. "It was also black, canceled, killed," the president explained about these cyber attacks originating in Houston and Chicago. A third attack against the distribution lines through mobile devices, digitized from the United States, which caused electromagnetic overloads. "They positioned them in the transmission towers and in the large cables to knock down the transmission in order to interrupt and reverse the recovery of the system," he said. The fire of substations such as those that occurred in Prados del Este (Baruta), Acarigua, El Hatillo, among other obvious attacks against the electrical system. This type of attacks focused, in all possible ways, on

preventing the last stretch of service recovery from occurring normally. Communication minister Jorge Rodríguez denounced that the gas supply of the Tacoa thermoelectric plant in Vargas state was cut off, in order to cause an explosion that could have caused dozens of deaths. "Tacoa could have supplied the Greater Caracas after the sabotage, but it was damaged by this explosion," the minister said shortly before detailing another serious attack on a transmission tower in Zulia at the time the service was restored. SYSTEM CHARACTERISTICS, VULNERABILITIES AND THE CASCADE EFFECT Pablo Varela, former adviser in Renewable Energy and Planning of the Ministry of Energy, explained to Misión Verdad that at present the electrical system in Venezuela is vulnerable due to several factors: One is the growing difference between what you need to maintain it, given the constant rise of your inputs and equipment, and oil prices since the 80's can not match both figures. This generates a structural situation in which an electrical system created as the "first world" is maintained with the highs and lows of raw materials sold by a peripheral country, now blocked from the financial markets. 14

self-proclaimed, again, argued that this fire was caused by the lack of pica and pruning in the area.

As a consequence, the other factor occurs: that the maintenance of the system is structurally affected by the economic crisis, and acts of corruption, which in the case of thermoelectric plants, aggravate the situation.

According to Guaidó, the fire "reheated these lines where more than 80% of the energy goes to the center of the country," which would have generated a rejection of cargo in the Guri turbines and caused the power supply to be cut off.

And finally, the dimension of the system that with a stretch of more than 20 thousand kilometers, including the spreading web, becomes difficult to protect against attacks and sabotage.

Varela affirms that, although technically this is possible (that turbine faults affect the turbines), it is difficult to consider how true this thesis is because the transmission towers near the hydroelectric plant have a high altitude, which makes it quite complicated that there is vegetation that grows at that height. While in his opinion also seems implausible that the linemen of Corpoelec, in charge of reviewing the state of the towers, have not detected, if so, the need to cut the vegetation to avoid any kind of fire that affected the laying.

According to Varela, this reality means that a deliberate sabotage can have effects such as cutting off the supply throughout the country, if adequate resources are available. In his opinion, in this way it is possible to induce a situation of paralysis, in synchrony with attacks against generation, transformation and electrical distribution. Or simply to promote a "disorder" that generates a cascade effect that amplifies the damage caused. Especially if one takes into account that the level of failures in areas such as transformation and distribution is between 40% and 60%, a very high level according to the technician.

Another weak point of this story is that if a fire had occurred, like the one pointed out by Guaidó, there would be photos and videos that would corroborate this version. "It would be impossible not to have seen it," he says.

"Venezuela, as a country besieged by a form of modern warfare, is vulnerable to this type of attack, at a time when, for several years, there has also been systematic sabotage of the electrical system," says Varela. In this sense, one of the many attacks on the system remembered by Varela is that of September 3, 2013, when a deliberate failure was made in a Guri transmission line that left 15 states in the country without service, as MV reported. this year.

According to Varela, in addition, if the theory of the fire were true, that would not explain either that the affectation of the Guri left without supply to all Venezuela, since it is a lie that supplies more than 80% of the country. The expert states that, in reality, the Guri is the source of approximately 60% of the energy of Venezuelans, while the remaining 40% comes from thermoelectric plants and other sources of supply. These are not the first lies detected in the Guaidó version, because it was José Aguilar, an antichavist electrical technician, who denied that the Guri was an analog system instead of a computerized one vulnerable to a hack, as he remarked in his press conference. day Sunday 10.

The opposition blamed the cut, at that time, a fire supposedly originated in the lack of pica and pruning of the vegetation, according to a communiqué of the Democratic Unity Table (MUD), accidentally deleted from its web portal. In December, near the mayoral elections, a new fault caused on the same line 765 would happen again in the same way, seeking, again, to leave more than half of the country without light.

THE WORDS OF RICARDO DURÁN AND SABOTAGE AS A SYSTEMATIC POLICY In 2011, journalist Ricardo Durán, murdered five years later by a group of Polichacao personnel, revealed that the technological system of supervision, control and requisition of data (SCADA), used as the distribution brain of Guri and Corpoelec in Caracas, has a vulnerability to hacking by 50%, according to a work carried out by the Venezuelan State. Unfortunately, this system used worldwide in industries and electrical companies, had been acquired in 2010 to the Canadian subsidiary of the Swiss company ABB, one of the pioneers in this type of software.

In this context of repeated attacks against the system, Varela considers that facts like these can leave the system more vulnerable and worse than before they happened. According to him, this situation makes it possible to expect other similar sabotage, as this Tuesday 12 said Minister Rodríguez. GUAIDÓ, ITS HYPOTHESIS AND THE DIAMETER OF AFFECTATIONS Juan Guaidó, after trying to sabotage the conspiracy, blamed the blackout as in 2013 on a vegetation fire that affected the three 765 kilovolt lines between the Guri and the Malena and San Gerónimo substations. The 15

For these reasons, the burning of substations and explosions in power plants during the last "blackout" do not call attention to anything because they represent a model of behavior similar to that of recent years.

In the same year of Durán's research, Dyllon Beresford, security analyst at the NSS Lab Researcher, along with independent researcher Brian Meixell, suspended a conference entitled "Chain reactions: hacking SCADA" at the TakeDown hacker event. in Dallas, United States.

The difference with other contexts is that, with an accumulated economic crisis, exacerbated by the blockade and now the oil embargo, the electric infrastructure is highly vulnerable to an attack and a subsequent cascade effect in the rest of the system, as Varela affirms. to put of reference the lack of alternate sources of energy and the high level of faults in the transformation and distribution.

The suspension was due to the request of Siemens (the company that created the system) and the Department of Homeland Security of the United States not to disclose system vulnerabilities that put at risk critical infrastructure such as dams, hydroelectric plants, oil refineries and power plants. According to The Washington Times, the researchers planned to publish the way in which they had created a cybernetic weapon similar to the Stuxnet virus, which in 2010 attacked the SCADA system of Iranian nuclear facilities, to show its vulnerability.

That is why it is easy to foresee that Washington's strategy is aimed at exploiting this vulnerability to seek, once again, to disable the electric service in such a way that critical knots of the country's life, such as the water supply, the health system, are immediately affected. , telecommunications and oil production, among other areas.

In this context, Durán identified in 2011 the main point of electrical sabotage in the distribution, through the manipulation of Corpoelec's computers. He gave as an example the arrest of a worker of the company at the La Mariposa plant, Miranda state, for being accused of blocking the distribution system to the central region, which caused up to seven daily power cuts in this area.

After all, it is all too obvious that the current cycle of sanctions, together with sabotage and different forms of pressure, are intended to lead Venezuela towards a collapse that makes it inevitable for the country to fall into the hands of Washington. For now, according to Elliot Abrams of the State Department, the White House will increase the pressure against the Bolivarian Republic, "especially now that there is no light."

This deliberate technical impact also occurred that year in Aragua when one of the four substations in the state was overloaded so that the system was blocked and power cuts were generated due to poor distribution of energy. In that sense, Durán recalled that after the nationalization of the Electricity of Caracas was hired, mostly, employees from People of Oil in charge of sabotage to PDVSA, under the modus operandi of letting enter those who had signed in favor of the recall referendum against Chávez in 2004.

www.misionverdad.com

The systematic policy of electric sabotage, on the other hand, only between 2008 and 2012, accounted for 11 of these episodes among which were cable cuts, lack of screws, fires, among many other episodes. Since the death of Chávez, in pre-election periods or political tension, the attacks have escalated with peaks like those recorded in the 2014 and 2017 guarimbas, where the electrical system was attacked only in La Salida, convened by Leopoldo López, in more than 10 opportunities

OBJECTIVES OF THE IRREGULAR WAR AGAINST ENERGY IN VENEZUELA The latest evidence gathered by the Venezuelan government, and presented to the Venezuelan population about the attack on the national electricity system, allow us to reconstruct the multidimensional attack that was unleashed in the energy chapter of the irregular war against Venezuela. Less than a week of cyber sabotage to the Simón Bolívar Hydroelectric Plant located in the Guri reservoir, which cut off the supply of electricity to more than 80% of the national territory, also affecting the supply of drinking water, health centers, communications and electronic banking; the President of the Bolivarian Republic denounced the physical attacks to electrical substations that made difficult the tasks of the technical personnel of the National Electric Corporation (Corpoelec) to restore the service. The cyber attack against Corpoelec's computerized brain at the Guri Complex hydroelectric plant and against the driving brain in Caracas was followed by electromagnetic attacks and, simultaneously, sabotage to other support infrastructures that reversed the recovery processes in order to raise the bet on the general and irreversible collapse of the electricity supply. It is essential to point out that these attacks are not dislocated events of the road map for the formation of an irregular war in an openly warlike phase in Venezuela, as has been denounced successively by its authorities. The exacerbation of unconventional conflict in Venezuela would involve the variable of large-scale sabotage to produce a greater erosion in the security components in Venezuela, which would be extended to the population through the degradation of the living conditions of the population. Indispensable inputs to the narrative of the "humanitarian crisis" and the "inability" of the "authorities of usurpation" to "protect" the Venezuelan population, under which the US government persists in acting. Indeed, one week after the electrical attack on Venezuela, the US Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo, said that the government of his country will insist on the entry of "humanitarian aid", now incorporating the input of the destruction of normality and quasi -break of social cohesion in Venezuela at the expense of the blackout. OPERATIONAL MAP OF THE PHYSICAL ATTACKS AGAINST THE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM The attacks described below occurred when power was restored in the east and south of the country while working in the capital. There were at least five attacks on the national electricity system, according to information provided by communication minister Jorge Rodríguez.

17

On the other hand, there was an emphasis on direct sabotage, such as that recorded by the explosion of the Alto Prado substation, located in Terrazas, the Equestrian Club of the Baruta municipality. When it caught fire in the early hours of Monday the 11th, it again left part of the city of Caracas without electricity. The sabotage to the Tacoa thermoelectric plant, located in Vargas, was also recorded. There they cut off the gas that supplies the station, causing an explosion and preventing its operation as an element of blackout contingency within the Venezuelan capital. It is necessary to stop at this point to note that a context of irregular warfare, such as that which is already being waged in Venezuela, disabling Caracas from electricity has strategic value, not only because it is the most important node in national politics, also because it is the main center of financial operations and electronic payment systems extensive throughout the country. The interruption of the electric flow and consequently of the telecommunications and means of payment, would break dramatically with the sense of normality generating a direct impact on the population. Other explosions of transformers were reported in the interior of the country, affecting mainly the western region. Both in the municipality Cabimas (Zulia) and Cabudare (Lara), are sites where the complete restoration of the electrical system took time to materialize due to explosions in substations. Specifically in Zulia, the explosion was reported, in the Las Cabillas sector of the Cabimas municipality. This state has also suffered irregular violent actions that have affected several commercial areas. Also in the Larense municipality of Cabudare, the explosion of the substation occurred on Monday 11, causing greater delays in the reconstitution of energy within that area. THE SABOTAGE AGAINST OIL FACILITIES: OBJECTIVES On Wednesday, March 13, the explosion of two 250 thousand barrels of diluent tanks was registered in the state of Anzoategui, specifically in the PDVSA Petro San Felix complex. PDVSA authorities announced at the time of the event in their internal messaging that the explosion had signs of sabotage. The diluents are hydrocarbon fluids (such as naphtha) that are used to dilute heavy oil and to reduce its viscosity, thus facilitating the transportation of crude oil. Venezuelan crude oil is mostly extra heavy, between 9 and 15 degrees API, high density. For its transportation, handling and dispatch, diluents are essential, in them

also lies the capacity of Venezuela to sustain or increase its crude production. The lack of intermittency of these diluents has been one of the causes of the fall in oil production in recent years in Venezuela, since they had traditionally been supplied by the US industrial oil circuit to Venezuela, and since the sanctions against the Venezuelan economy the The country has had to resort to other suppliers in the midst of the financial boycott, affecting the flow of that input in Venezuelan production. The attack on Petro San Felix could be clearly framed in an agenda to degrade Venezuelan exports. It also helps to partially disable the production of gasoline for the domestic market and supply, given that the systems for transporting and dispatching crude oil through pipelines to national refineries also depend on these diluents. Recently the financial firm Barclays made the estimate that by attacking the Venezuelan electricity system, the country could lose about 700 thousand barrels of oil production suddenly. Although the Venezuelan authorities have not reported on this item, it is true that oil production is associated with electricity and that the shielding of oil fields through on-site generation could be partial and limited. The sustained loss of electricity means the loss of compression injected into wells, essential for the pumping of crude oil. It is known that a loss of sensitive production, compared to current levels, would have extensive effects on domestic exports and the domestic fuel flow. It is necessary to estimate then that, in the operational approach of attrition against vital services in Venezuela, it has PDVSA as an indispensable target. ACCURATE SUPPLIES AND ACTORS OF THE IRREGULAR WAR IN VENEZUELA Through successive events that have taken place in Venezuela, there is a series of asymmetric resources to increase the collapse as consecutive attacks to power stations in border states by irregular groups from Colombia, theft of cables and strategic materials in substations in the central region Western and electric attacks that have their high peaks in electoral periods. Minister Jorge Rodríguez has released figures that illustrate the consequences of low intensity operations, which seek to dismantle the electricity infrastructure, a strategic area for the normal functioning of a country, with the aim of providing greater inputs to foreign intervention . 18

These actions, which have a long history, have generated more than 200 electrocuted deaths, more than 150 damaged electrical substations and multi-million dollar losses in specialized equipment. The constant terrorist attacks on the country's electricity system severely damaged the infrastructure, which facilitated the work of generating a domino effect that prolonged the collapse of services.

In parallel, Marco Rubio disseminates false figures of deaths due to power failures and incorrect information from affected stations and John Bolton is responsible for hiding the implications of the United States by assigning the reason for the blackouts "to years of Maduro corruption, underinvestment and maintenance neglected".

At the moment of gaining access to the nerve center and uncontrolled its operation, the circulatory body deployed throughout the territory was weakened.

In addition, it takes advantage of the brief moment of tendency enjoyed by false news about what happens in Venezuela after the blackout, to tighten the financial siege and force other nations to also join.

In addition to measuring the response capacity of the Venezuelan military institutions before a possible war scenario, where this type of resources would be daily, the violation of security in the Guri was used to reactivate the propaganda campaign of the "humanitarian crisis" after the failure of 23F. The New York Times' disclosure of the fabrication of a false positive in the "humanitarian aid" income show exposed not only the Trump administration but also the Colombian government for its participation.

The intellectual authors of Washington oversize the effects of the attack to capitalize them in favor of transferring the responsibility to the government of Nicolás Maduro and increase the economic and diplomatic pressures against Venezuela, hurrying the step to verify that irremediably the support for the "parallel government" is losing strength. of Guaidó and the aggressive tone against the legitimate presidency of Maduro at a global level, while internally, they fail to break the FANB to materialize the regime change.

Enter the US intermediary, Juan Guaidó (politically diminished after 23F), to comply with the mediatic phase of unconventional aggression, spreading imprecise explanations of a supposed energy crisis caused by the Venezuelan State's negligence.

How the Venezuela Dam Power Grid was aacked Cyber attacks are more common than what the common could recognize. Kaspersky, where there is no digital presence or incessant cyber-activity on a global scale.

THE NEW AMERICAN CYBER STRATEGY The White House, as you can read in its cybersecurity strategy of 2018, intends to undertake a risk management course through the introduction of new information technologies, the establishment of responsibilities in social projects and the channeling of public funds. a cybersecurity contractor for the desired restoration of its hegemony.

According to the aforementioned Russian cybernetic laboratory, Venezuela is currently the 106th most attacked country in the world. It is not a nation protagonist of the war, nevertheless, the battlefield of this modality includes everything that is connected to the web and the Tor project, therefore it is susceptible of all the weapons that emanate from it.

On the other hand, the analogous document from the Department of Defense expresses its aggressive intentions in the cybernetic field: "We focus on on-the-ground capabilities that are scalable, adaptable and diverse to provide maximum flexibility to Joint Force commanders. "To be able to advance the interests of the United States."

There are hackers in all countries; Many are managed as contractors, others as government officials, others as cyber criminals. The United States, according to its strategy, works with all of them in order to condition a hegemony in the cybercampus, at a time when the Trump administration sees its response capacity in relation to Russia and China, two of the countries More attacked cybernetically according to Kaspersky.

According to this vision, "the refusal to the norms of the United States", writes the expert Leonid Savin in his review of the cyber strategy of the United States. We could add, from what we have seen in recent history, that it has not only been reduced against the Americans themselves, but also the majority of the planetary population.

The new forms of war have the United States in a race for the battle in the influence of its modes, uses and reasons, the capacities that have been put to the test from the beginning of the Internet and that increase with the passing of the generations . 20

components, remote transmission units, data in red and the operations center.

CIBERGUERRA, SABOTAJE Y SISTEMA SCADA The government of Nicolás Maduro accused the United States of perpetrating a cyberattack against the SCADA system (acronym for Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) that regulates the automated activities of the Simón Bolívar Hydroelectric Power Plant, better known as the Guri Dam. This hypothesis, which would turn the scenario into a military one, is as probable as the precedents identified in recent history.

2) Study the functioning of the physical system connected to SCADA, as well as the distribution of the network in Venezuela, and the elements that can be vulnerable and create a cascading effect, is fundamental, because the cyber attack has no meaning and does not have a physical property. industrial The variables that can be modified and altered to manipulate the physical system.

SCADA is a system created by the German company Siemens that, in the case of Guri, controls through a network of automated computers the generators that produce electricity. A deep explanation of the characteristics of the hydroelectric power station can be read here.

3) Master the depth of SCADA's security system in Venezuela. Depending on the level of security support of the Guri network, for example, the ability to know and violate the system becomes more difficult. "Information is key," says Gil. In that sense, complicity is also possible for the greater knowledge of the system connected to the Guri: "Someone can leave the door open for an attack from outside. At the same time, we present a security protocol in its entirety.

In the last two decades the flaws of this system have been denounced, although Siemens has tried to censor all the relevant information. The murdered journalist, Ricardo Durán at the time, announced the conclusions of the Caracas Electricity report (before its nationalization) on the failures of the SCADA, which he already assumed was vulnerable to being manipulated and sabotaged by third parties.

Therefore, its recommendation is based on knowing and developing systems, supporting the development of free technologies: "These systems can be modified and strengthened by Venezuelan engineers to strengthen and avoid the vulnerabilities they have."

Independent investigative engineers in the United States, including Dillon Beresford of NSS Labs, tried to make the weaknesses of SCADA known at a conference in 2011. Not only Siemens, but also the US Department of Homeland Security, did not allow the event, as Beresford and his colleagues would unveil how SCADA can be hacked, taking Stuxnet as an example of attack on industrial facilities (in that case, nuclear Iran). They would also demonstrate "how to write industrial-grade malware without direct access to the target hardware." In fact, one of those researchers, Brian Meixel, appears in a video on YouTube in 2013 where he shows three different scenarios of attacks on this system, in which all the instruments of cyberwar are involved.

UNITED STATES VS. VENEZUELA AND THE WORLD Stuxnet, a cybernetic worm that penetrated the facilities of information technology systems, and the turning point around the public vulnerabilities of SCADA.

When knowing the elements that make up the SCADA system, and at this point it is already public information (just a click away from a Google search), it can be manipulated via cyber attack its components, as confirmed by the mechanical engineer and professor at the Central University of Venezuela , Arturo Gil Pinto. Consulted by Misión Verdad, Gil Pinto enunciates the three particularities that must be given to be able to hack the SCADA in the Venezuelan case:

In recent years, we have been more aware of the capabilities of science with the Cambridge Analytica scandal and manipulations through Big Data, with the United States as the main battlefield. The most important images are the following: the light of its use and its influence to change the psychology of the users, and the images and the capacities to influence the matter. The new rules of war (2018) of Cybercrimes "They give us new ways of doing old things: sabotage, theft, propaganda, deception and espionage."

1) Know the network of the system and how to access the commercial network of the Internet. It can be entered via the roads, mailing, email, malicious 21

The United States has been rehearsing in different ways all the tools of use and development of science, in a world in which it increasingly expands the influences of others in the particular space of information and data.

The worm of Stuxnet against SCADA, as well as other derivatives of cybernetics, the part of these programs, the future of war in the present, all accounts with a single strategic aim: to avoid the collapse of the military hegemony of the States United . The attack against the Venezuelan Guru was only a minimal part of the plan, as well as a test of what the enemy can do with the vulnerabilities of the infrastructure, technologies and industrial sectors of the Bolivarian Republic.

Publicly, with information from the Washington Post, it was learned that the US cybernetic command attacked the Internet Research Agency. This is a direct confirmation of a government cybernetic intrusion into the territory of another State, beyond the limits set by Mr. Robot.

On the other hand, as was also known through WikiLeaks leaks, the CIA comes with covert hacking programs that end the arsenal of "zero-day" attacks (zero-day attacks), use against applications or systems, that aim to execute malicious code thanks to the knowledge of vulnerabilities that, in general, are unknown to the people and the manufacturer of the product, so there are no patches or systems that fight.

TRAITORS "Among the vices of man, betrayal is the most abject" Aeschylus (460 BC)

"I forgive all those who did me wrong, or who wanted to do it, with the exception of those who betrayed us to save their skin ..." Mikkel Manouchian (Resistant French before being shot) Who is a traitor? In reality, it is he who hides his face in the shadows, who crosses the corners looking back to see that nobody is following him, that he looks hunched and exhibits a grimace like a smile, that he sleeps with sweaty shocks. A traitor has a black ball, thick with fat as a heart. A traitor is a slippery, cowardly, immoral type. He does not act out of conviction but out of convenience in safeguarding his ambitions or rewards while defending the interests of a nation to the detriment of his homeland convinced of the final victory of his protector. A traitor lives uneasy and agitated. A traitor will never admit his betrayal. He does not understand why he suffers from inexplicable torments. A traitor appears as a savior of the country to which he betrays by order of his master. He wants to destroy entire cities, forests, bridges, temples. A traitor loses shame, cauterizes remorse, suffocates dignity. He becomes an abominable criminal. A traitor lives under the contempt of all, even those who induced him to betray, and death like a rat infected with bubonic plague. He dies alone and desperate like Hippias, walled off like Pausanias, hanged like Vidkun Quisling or in front of a firing squad like Pierre Laval and Arnaldo Ochoa. ATHENS HIPPIAS Three crucial battles sealed the fate of Europe and the

so-called Western civilization: Marathon, Salamis and Platea. In all three the Hellenes fought against the Persian Empire, the Mayos and most powerful empire of that time. His greatest ambition was to occupy Greece and Laconia. Many heroes stood out in that fierce fight against the attempted domination of the so-called Medos, among them Phidippides, who ran 42 kilometers to request the help of the Spartans. History does not forget the exploits, not only of the general drivers of these great battles, but of the heroism of a combative people, that filled with ardent patriot fiercely fought against the attempt of domination of the Persians. Among them the same Aeschylus who distinguished himself by his courage and his firm decision to defend the country until his last drop of blood. Aeschylus, inspired by this experience, wrote one of his most famous theatrical pieces: "Los Persas". But in the midst of that patriotic fervor there arose the stinking stain of betrayal: Hippias of Athens, who should not be confused with the great Sophist philosopher Hippias of Elis, who reflected on the nature of beauty. Hippias had arisen from the hosts of those Greek enemies of the nascent Helena democracy. Perfidious and ambitious, he did not hesitate to ally with the enemies of Greece to conquer the power he had lost. The Persians promised to replace him in power and immediately became one of the architects of the invasion of the Greek peninsula in 24

the belief that this battle, that of Marathon, would be brief and easy. Hippias confided to the Persian king Darius I confidential information against his own country and recommended that the best place for conquest was to land in Marathon. The Persian king, enthusiastic about Hiplasia's condemnation, put together an army of more than 300,000 men and 600 ships and launched into conquest confident of the military superiority of his army. He considered that the Athenians with just a little more than 10 thousand Hoplites to defend themselves could easily be crushed. The hosts of Darío and Hippias never managed to disembark in Greek earth. They were defeated by the sagacity, bravery and capacity of sacrifice of a people swelling with patriotism. Hippias fled to the land of his foramen, humiliated and despised by his own protector for failure. His treason did not help him. History hardly remembers, it associates with the most vile proceeding in front of a heroic people. Hippias died as a servant more to the order of his Persian masters, without glory and with the nauseous and indelible stain of betrayal. PAUSANIAS The Persian threat was constantly clinging to Greece and Lacedaemon as a curse of Zeus. An Empire that controlled Asia Minor, Mesopotamia and Egypt. After the battle of Marathon and Salamis the Persian army was weakened. But soon they undertook a new colonizing attack. Darius I had died and at the head of the Persian Empire was his son, Xerxes. Again a new battle is being prepared: that of Plataea where an unfavorable confrontation is repeated for the Greeks and Spartans in this case. According to Herodotus the Persians had 240,000 men against the Greek / Spartan coalition of only 38 to 40,000 soldiers. Again the numerical superiority makes Xerxes think that victory will inevitably be on his side. Each army, however, has its boss. The Greeks are led by Aristides and the Spartans by Pausanias. The battle of Plataea was a great victory for the Hellenes that sealed the Persian defeat and the beginning of the end of that almighty empire. But the betrayal did not stop. Pausanias had already distinguished himself by being a despot. Once the war was over, he claimed victory alone. The Persian spies were experts in bribery to turn the Greeks and Spartans into collaborators after the war. Pausanias was one of them. His attitude towards the Persian Empire was very evident that very soon it became submission. After the war began with the return of the prisoners belonging to the Persian nobility, then to the adoption of typically Persian customs, and finally the commitment to marry the daughter of one of the men of confidence of King Xerxes. Those steps were interpreted, not as contacts of a Spartan king, but as a submissive conduct, whose intentions were no other than to propose a coalition with the still powerful Persian Empire. All these outrag-

es led to his dismissal and prosecution. Pausanias took refuge among the Persians and from there began to conspire against his own state He returned clandestinely and participated in the organization of the revolt of the Hilotas, species of Spartan serfs, against their homeland. He was sentenced to death. When he was about to be captured, he tried to flee again to the Persian Empire, but was surrounded and took refuge in a temple of the goddess Athena, where he was walled up to die of hunger. They took him out agonizing, cadaverous, asking for water, and buried him very close to avoid the sacrilege. VIDKUN QUISLING World War II left 60 million dead and almost all of Europe in rubble. The Nazi concentration camps were filled with communists, socialists, social democrats, Jews, gypsies and homosexuals. The parties of the extreme right took advantage of the military power exhibited by the German militarist oligarchy that had put at the head of that nation a group of criminal and schizophrenic fanatics such as Adolf Hitler, Himmler, Goebbels, Mengele and Bormann. The French historian Raymond Cartier in his book World War II argues that the ambitions of the German bourgeoisie consisted mainly in extirpating the proletarian power implanted in the Soviet Union and appropriating the oil fields of the Caucasus. The Bolshevik Revolution made them tremble. But before it had to bend to the bourgeoisie of those countries that still vacillated before the scope of that "liberating" company, to then give the final blow to the USSR. It was necessary the collaboration of the fascist parties or European philonazists to realize that great operation. One of the first steps taken by the German militarist oligarchy was not to go immediately to the USSR, before deciding to occupy Western Europe. Norway was one of the first victims. And the fascist party, the Nasjonal Samling, was ready to hand over the country to a foreign nation. The year 1940 arrived and the hordes of Hitler occupied the country. Vidkun Quisling was put at the command of the Nazi party that helped him to give a coup d'etat. He was appointed Minister President by the invaders. Under his government all political parties, trade unions and all independent organizations were banned. A brutal repression against the Communists was unleashed and anti-Semitic laws were introduced. Vidkun Quisling celebrated every crime of the Nazis as a particular victory. He was complicit in the execution of communist leader Viggo Hansteen and trade unionist Rolf Wickstrøm, both shot by the SS in 1941. The Reichskommissar (Reich Commissioner), Josef Terboven, was the one who ruled the country in the face of full submission and the complicit gaze of the traitor . Quisling received the head of the SS and war criminal, Heinrich 25

Himmler, in Oslo, and became an active part of Hitler's "Final Solution". He authorized the SS to persecute and deport Jews and Communists to the extermination camps. At the end of the war in 1945 he was prosecuted for high treason to the fatherland and condemned to death. He asked for clemency before the firing squad that ended his crimes and disgusting life. His name remained in history as a synonym for traitor, the most infamous and despicable remoquete that anyone can carry. PIERRE LAVAL During the Nazi occupation in France, a poster inviting to capture the members of the Resistance accused of terrorists was circulated. The poster insulted that group of patriots, led by the mache Mikkel Manouchian, signaling them as the "armed criminals". The French poet Louis Aragon dedicated a poem to those heroes, and the singer Leo Ferré one of his most famous songs: "L'Affiche Rouge". The newspaper of the French Communist Party, "L'Humanité" appeared weekly ridiculing the brutal Nazi repression and the French collaborators. After the invasion of the Wehrmacht, the traitorous Marshal Philippe Pétain takes power and names the traitor mayor, Pierre Laval, a declared fascist, as Head of Government, who knelt before the German invaders. Laval met directly with Hitler on several occasions and handed France into the hands of the invader. More than half a million French were enslaved and sent to Germany to work under the mandate of Pierre Laval's collaborationist government. The French Maquis fought tirelessly against the occupier who had already shown his bestiality with persecution, torture and assassinations. An estimated 15,000 communist militants were executed, according to the French historian and researcher, Jean Touchard. German imperialism had ceded a piece of its own country to occupied France where Pierre Laval, together with Pétain, established what was called the Vichy Government. Pierre Laval is appointed Prime Minister of the puppet regime of Vichy. In 1944 with the liberation of France, his time came. He was captured, judged by collaboration with the enemy and treason. It was so

much the hatred that this wretch aroused, that the French people turned to the courts that judged him to ask for his head. Pierre Laval even believed that he would be acquitted and would continue his political career as a leader of the extreme right after the war without paying his treason. Finally he was sentenced to death and shot. JUAN GUAIDÓ Historically, as we have seen, empires always seek submissive collaborators within the ranks of fascist or neo-fascist far-right parties. Venezuela has not been the exception. These parties open the doors to the oppressor and deliver the country to the highest bidder in exchange for political, but mainly economic, prebends. The Venezuelan neofascist Voluntad Popular party has been selected by US imperialism as the spearhead to take over again the largest certified oil reserves on the planet, and other riches of our country. Voluntad Popular has shown signs of a servility without limits to US interests like no other party in Venezuela. He was able to import mercenaries and paramilitaries for the 2002 coup against Comandante Chavez, reprinting the violence on several occasions in order to overthrow the democratically elected government, with balances of the dead and wounded, burned public transport units, schools, nurseries children and universities consumed under fire, and to burn alive more than 19 Venezuelans just for being black or mulatto, that is to say, poor or chavistas. The first step taken by this party was to ignore the elections of May 20, 2018, a plan conceived by US imperialism to subsequently attempt a coup d'état. It was a premeditated plan, ordered by Washington and carried out by the submissive attitude of these far-right parties, with Voluntad Popular on the front row. The goal of the US government is to overthrow a "dictator and restore democracy", euphemisms to hide the authentic appetites of the US, said by John Bolton himself, who has expressed clearly that it is about putting its hands on the oil . You can not invalidate an election by the whim of three parties and less by order of a foreign government, when it is known that 6 candidates and 16 parties participated and the alleged dictator took more than 67% of the votes. From the bosom of Popular Will it was logical that a traitor was chosen. It did not appear out of nowhere, it's a guy that the Americans have been preparing for a long time. Juan Guaidó is a subject without a political past, obscure, without charisma or political preparation, is a

salaried agitator, whose only merit was showing the buttocks in a violent street demonstration and known only to receive instructions in the US and Yugoslavia for destabilizing action, to overthrow a government by force. He was carefully selected to attempt a coup, as Quisling did in Norway under the leadership of the National Sozialistische Partei Deutschland (Nazi Party) in Germany in 1940. He jumped from anonymity to the celebrity for standing next to the aggressor against him. his homeland, such as Hippias, Pausanias or Pierre Laval. He became an accomplice to the booby trap of "humanitarian aid" on the border with Colombia that failed miserably. He bet on the criminal plans with the envoy of the empire, Marcos Rubio, and with the puppet of the paramilitary drug lord Álvaro Uribe, Iván Duque. But the most despicable and infamous subordination of this subject is the plea for foreign troops to trample our land and start the total devastation of the country under the Yankee bombs, as has happened in Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya and Syria. Can you doubt that this individual is a traitor? All these renegades are always presented by their masters as fierce conquerors of freedom and democracy. To each of their misdeeds wield a justification: free their homeland, restore democracy, protect their people, give better living conditions to their population, but do not tell that behind them is the proven looter, and in this case This is the bomber of Vietnam, Iraq, Laos

and Cambodia; the same one that assaulted Cuba and was defeated in Bahía de Cochino; the one who bombed Hanoi, after inventing an incident in Tonkin Bay, which never existed; the one who created the "death squads" in El Salvador; the one that delivered arms to the Contras in Nicaragua disguised as "humanitarian aid" and blocked Corinto Bay; the one who struck against Jacobo Árbenz in Guatemala, against Joao Goulart in Brazil, against Perón in Argentina, against Salvador Allende in Chile; the one who assassinated Presidents Jaime Roldós and Omar Torrijos; the one that left a million dead in Iraq; the one who trained, armed and financed an army of mercenaries called the Islamic State to try to take over Syria; the one that tried to give a coup d'etat in 2002 in Venezuela against the Commander Hugo Chávez and currently sustains a permanent aggression, a brutal harassment with an economic and financial siege against Venezuela. It is with this power with which this repulsive traitor has allied itself. There is no death penalty in our country, but the laws are severe against all these crimes and like Hippias, Pausanias, Quisling and Laval, this miserable traitor must one day face justice.

Misión Verdad to have access to a confidential document ("Non-Paper") made by the government of Canada, president by Justin Trudeau, with the purpose of establishing a bridge between the president of the National Assembly in contempt and some Eastern Caribbean countries to propose an instrument of displacement of petrocaribe. The Canadian government sent a low-level official to a meeting of the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS), held on the island of Guadalupe, with the aim of facilitating the direct link between The team of Guaidó and the first ministers that make up the Caricom. In Guadeloupe, the special envoy of Trudeau for a meeting with the top leaders of the OECS that was rejected, because it did not represent the diplomatic levels necessary for the meeting to take place. However, the Caribbean representatives accepted a courtesy lunch in which the following document was published:

The government of Canada is based on a relationship between bad weather. Juan Guaidó and the representatives of these countries. It is a diplomatic response. In spite of this, we received the document with the Administration's proposal, and at all times we acted as representatives of the Venezuelan opposition, which consisted of an organism parallel to Petrocaribe called the "Cooperation and Energy Stability Agreement". The proposal to mine Petrocaribe showed a new sign of annoyance in the representatives of these Caribbean countries, who registered the Canadian his total support to the dialogue between the parties in Venezuela. It will also be installed in the same position at the same table with the government of Nicolás Maduro. Likewise, the fact that Petrocaribe is being sabotaged by the states of the United States and regional pressure against Venezuela was recorded in Canada, supported both by the Venezuelan government and by the Venezuelan government represented in the National Assembly in contempt. Without further ado, from the Caribbean they rejected the Canadian option. The anti Venezuelan coalition led by Canada tried in this way: 28

i) To buy the wills of some countries of the Eastern Caribbean with the relations of the same representatives of the Caribbean described as petty ii) Offer high-level diplomatic meetings that do not materialize, sending low-level advisers to Caribbean governments Finally, the representatives of the Caribbean made it clear that they do not recognize Juan Guaidó. We insist on a common position that proposes the peaceful way, dialogue and respect for international law, the strategy of coup d'état and the "humanitarian intervention" outlined by Washington.

WHEN IMPERIALISM FEELS WEAK, IT RESORTS TO BRUTE FORCE. THE ATTACKS ON VENEZUELA ARE A SIGN OF WEAKNESS. NOWADAYS ALMOST NOBODY DEFENDS NEOLIBERALISM. UP UNTIL JUST FIDEL (CASTRO) AND I RAISED THOSE CRITICISMS AT PRESIDENTIAL MEETINGS. WE FELT LONELY, AS IF WE INFILTRATED THOSE MEETINGS. -HUGO CHÁVEZ-
