Venezuelan people march against the interference of the United States: President Maduro: Chavez rescued the true character of the anti-imperialist banner Caracas, March 12, 2016. - This Saturday, the president of the Republic, Nicolas Maduro, said that the commander, Hugo Chavez rescued the true character of the anti-imperialist banner. By joining the mobilization held in Caracas, where Venezuelans marched to protest the ratification of the decree issued by the US government in declaring Venezuela as a threat, Maduro said that Venezuela does not represent a threat, but on the contrary it symbolizes hope for the people of the world. He said that before the imperialist measure, several Latin American nations and social movements have raised their voices in condemnation of this new attack, which further expands bilateral relations between the two countries.

He explained that the essence of the Bolivarian Revolution is love, "we are a Humanist Revolution" and said that US President Barack Obama, made a mistake by extending for another year the sanctions against Venezuela imposed on March 9th, 2015, for alleged human rights violations. He recalled that US forces have intervened in countries like Libya, Syria and Ukraine, leaving them in ruins, full of misery and pain. "Obama has created chaos in the world" he sentenced, while Venezuela has led solidarity, love and the awakening of the people of Latin America and elsewhere. Against the imperial aggression "it is time for courage, it is not time for cowardice. It is time to raise the morale, we must make a free and independent country," the president said in a speech that was broadcast on national radio and television. www.mppre.gob.ve

CHAIR OF THE COORDINATING BEREAU OF THE NON - ALIGNED MOVEMENT

Communique by the Coordinating Bureau of the Non Aligned Movement in support of the Government of the Bolivarian Republic if Venezuela Rejecting the Decision of the Government of the United States of America to Renew its Unilateral Coercive Measures The Coordinating Bureau of the Non Aligned Movement rejects the latest decision of the Government of the United States of America to renew its unilateral coercive measures against the Bolivarian Republic if Venezuela, on March 4th 2016, under the Executive Order signed by President Barack Obama, which declares ‘‘a national emergency with respects to the unusual and extraordinary threat to the national security and foreign policy of the United States posed by the situation in Venezuela.’’ The Coordinating Bureau of the Non Aligned Movement deplores these disproportionate measures and reiterates its firm support for the sovereignty, territorial integrity and political independence of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela in line with the Bandung principles. In this regard, the CoB NAM emphasizes the need to respect international law, including the principles and purposes of the Charter of the United Nations and the Declaration of principles of International Law concerning Friendly Relations and Cooperation among States in accordance with the Charter of the United Nations. The Coordinating Bureau of the Non Aligned Movement emphasizes the importance of dialogue to promote peaceful settlement of disputes and we urge the Government of the United States and the Government of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to engage in constructive dialogue. The Coordinating Bureau of the Non Aligned Movement expresses its solidarity and support to the people and Government of Venezuela in rejection of these illegal measures and urges the United States Government to desist from such illegal coercive measures that affect the spirit of dialogue and political understanding among nations. Republic of Ecuador Official statement on the Executive Order against Venezuela Ecuador expresses its firm rejection of the decision of the President of the United States to extend for one year the executive order declaring the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela an "extraordinary and unusual a threat to national security and foreign policy of the United States". The decision, originally adopted in 2015, constitutes an unacceptable interference in a sovereign country and creates a serious risk to peace and democracy in the region. Sanctions on third parties, as adopted, imply an unjust and unacceptable political pressure and violate the principles of noninterference and equality of States enshrined in the United Nations Charter. Acting outside international law discredits the author of the measure and undermines efforts being undertaken by the Government of Venezuela for national dialogue. The reiteration of the decision is also particularly alarming, because it seeks to alter the institutional framework of a country. The Ecuador draws the attention of the international community about the attempt to destabilize Venezuela's democratic order as well as its internal and external order, and expresses its fraternal solidarity with the people and the Government of Venezuela. Resolution of the Sao Paulo Forum Working Group Sao Paulo Forum rejects US onslaught against Venezuela The Working Group of the Forum of Sao Paulo, meeting in Mexico City on 13th March, two thousand sixteen, agrees to reject in the strongest way, the ratification of the Decree of the President of the United States, Barack Obama, in which he declares Venezuela as an "unusual and extraordinary threat", which is a new political aggression and an act that violates the most elementary principles of international public law. This act of interference of US imperialism against the homeland of Simon Bolivar and Hugo Chavez is a disrespectful policy of peaceful coexistence among nations, and attempted threat against the sacred principles of sovereignty, selfdetermination of people, and a dangerous threat to stability of Venezuelan democracy. All organizations of Latin American and Caribbean left that are part of the Forum of Sao Paulo, are committed to report on all instances and to our people, this new attack against the Bolivarian revolution and, therefore, we identify with the pronouncements of solidarity of important institutions of integration, such as CELAC, UNASUR, the ALBA-TCP, the Group of 77 plus China and non-aligned countries. Also, we express our support for the peace diplomacy, advanced by the government of President Nicolas Maduro and its enormous efforts to develop the Latin American and Caribbean integration, cooperation, unity and multipolarity. The Forum of Sao Paulo, through its Working Group, undertakes to deploy a set of actions of solidarity with the Venezuelan nation and in this regard calls on the third day of World Solidarity: "People of the World United with Venezuela", which will be carried out on a planetary scale to be held on April 19th this year. Mexico City, March 13th, 2016.
