FACTS • Income in MLM is dependent on effort not position. More than half of direct sellers have reported that their net income from direct selling, after taxes and expenses, is on the upside. • No doubt recruiting is an important element of direct selling but it is not a requirement for individual success. The income is also based on the sale of products and services. 34% direct sellers earn money from their own sales and not from the sale recruits.


FACTS • Almost 70% network marketers who have been recruited for less than a year claim that they are very or extremely likely to continue as a direct seller in future. • More and more people are getting involved in direct selling to earn a supplemental income, taking advantage of the flexibility of time, as well as socialize with friends.


FACTS • The decision to sell a product through network marketing is taken considering certain factors. No doubt direct selling products are priced on the higher side but the acceptance level is higher as the product is based on value addition and personalized service.


CONCLUSION Network Marketing does have its fair share of problems but they mainly revolve false and misleading information. However, you should not let these false beliefs stop you from considering a network marketing business.
