Just send your art assets and/ or ideas to us when you book. Guaranteed Placement You can ensure your ad will appear on any particular page by adding just 20% to the ad’s regular rate, provided that page has space available. Deadlines For a given Friday’s issue, you must book your ads by the Tuesday at 5 PM. If you are building your own ads, please send us your camera ready artwork by the Wednesday at 5 PM. Software & Media: Verb uses Adobe Indesign and recommends submitting les in the following formats: PDF, JPEG, TIFF or EPS. To ensure that the text in your advertisements appears in Verb as originally designed, please ensure that all fonts used in your advertisement are embedded in the submitted le (if permitted by the le format). For expediency and reliability, our preferred method of le delivery is via email. Files can be sent to layout@verbnews.com.

Colour and Images: Although we accept les in both RGB and CMYK colour formats, les using RGB colour will be converted to CMYK colour prior to printing. To ensure colours appear as desired, we recommend that all les use CMYK colour format. For best image results we recommend that les are saved at a resolution of 300 dpi (dots per inch). 300 dpi is considered the standard resolution for sharp, vibrant prints, and les saved at lower dpi settings will likely appear blurry and/or pixelated.

Payments Verb bills every two weeks. All payments are Due On Receipt of invoice. Accounts over 30 days past due will be subject to a one-time interest charge of 4% on the outstanding balance, and an additional 1.5% interest charge every 30 days thereafter. All interest charges are compounded monthly. Ad Errors Verb assumes that all submissions are camera ready and does not proofread ads. Verb is not responsible for errors present in submitted les. Ad Cancellation Notice of cancellation of scheduled advertising must be received by Verb no later than 5:00 PM on Wednesday (the week of publication). Cancellation between 5:00 PM on Wednesday and 5:00 PM

on Thursday (the week of publication) will result in a charge of 10% of the cost of the advertising scheduled by the client for that week’s issue. Cancellation after 5:00 PM on Thursday (the week of publication) will result in the client being charged the full cost of the ad. Standards Verb reserves the right to refuse to print submitted advertisements. Advertisements that are refused will be refunded in their entirety. Contract Cancellation In the event of cancellation of a multiple-ad contract, the client will not be held liable for remaining ads. However, the discount rate will be recalculated based on the number of contract ads already run, with any di erence in total cost being charged to the client.
