Audio technology continues to evolve, including the development of spatial audio systems that are now accessible to everyone. Well-known for his work with Howard Shore and Peter Jackson on the scores for The Two Towers, The Return of the King, and The Hobbit Trilogy, London-based audio engineer Mark Willsher brings his diverse background in film scoring, record production, and software development to the ideaLAB and takes stock of the latest technologies. Participants will be invited to experience spatial audio first-hand after the talk.

Atelier conçu pour un groupe de cinq enfants de 4 à 8 ans accompagnés d’un·e parent. How do you sound a trumpet? What if I pluck this string? Is a cello heavy? Music education specialist Martine Pernoud guides children as they discover the instruments of the orchestra. Workshop devised for a group of five children aged 4 to 8 accompanied by one parent.
