SELF REFLECTION

This semester has been a significant journey in deepening my understanding of the interior design profession within the framework of legal and regulatory contexts. Through assignments focusing on the Architects Act, UBBL, and professional codes of conduct, I gained insights into the critical role of regulations in shaping responsible and ethical practice.

Exploring these topics reinforced the importance of adhering to standards for safety, sustainability, and public well-being while maintaining creative integrity. Discussions on practical challenges, such as CCC submissions and collaboration with architects, emphasized the interconnectedness of design roles. The integration of theoretical knowledge with practical scenarios, like addressing building plan compliance and leveraging technology responsibly, bridged the gap between academic learning and real-world applications.

These assignments has not only enriched my technical and legal awareness but also solidified my appreciation for the values of professionalism and adaptability required in the ever-evolving interior design industry.
