Atelier Mario Botta, Gabriele Cappellato An agricultural farm in Dongio, Switzerland On a site located on the outskirts of the village of Dongio, the project of a farm includes the house of the proprietor, a generous stable and a barn. The site presents a few preexisting houses and a touristic shop showing and offering traditional products. I chose to locate the farm keeping some distance from other buildings, fact that offers the project freedom of form and organisation. The overall composition plays the different heights, as it is situated on a light slope and the particular shape of the stable embraces the private workspace as well as opens as an observer towards the valley.
BSc 1 Atelier Mario Botta, Gabriele Cappellato Constructive detail of Alberto Campo Baeza’s Casa Asencio The model comes as the result of a radiography through the walls of Asencio House. With attention to detail, the model shows the various layers in the construction packs used, the logic of particular construction methods - in this case the use of hollowed ceramic elements that act as beams and a heating system at once - and some assembly details along with their expressive function.
BSc1, BSc2 Digital Representation Course Giovanni Balestra, Lidor Gil-Ad Study of Waugoshance Light, Lake Michigan The study includes the clear redrawing of old plans in a conemporary graphic code, the analysis of its interior functionality and spatiality through a 3D model that has, as a result, the axonometric view and, lastly, computer generated images using Adobe Photoshop and Maxwell Render.

BSc 1 Atelier Mario Botta, Gabriele Cappellato A Conceptual Office Building On an imaginary site, using a long and narrow surface, the facade and lighting method become the main points of focus. An organisational itention was to create workspaces as various possible through orientation, dimensions and desk arrangement. The office includes a receiving and leasure time ground floor, a meeting room overlooking the context and a more private office for the office head. The two lighting gestures were creating a well of light permitting the uniform lighting of the long surface and a structural system of steel frames which acts as a light filter, encourages the circulation of air and supports the uniformisation of light throughout each floor.

Conceptual Detached House 1st year architecture, UAUIM On an imaginary site, using a grid of pillars, a detached house is the pretext of the study of the free plan. Since the house disposes of a generous yard it can be placed almost in the centre without damaging the dimension of outside spaces. By creating four covered terraces, the interior of the house is being divided into rooms of precisely calculated dimensions and proportions. The opaque walls ontribute to focalising the views on the landscape and create privacy and protection for the interiors of the house.
