vintageugly.com Crockpot Recipe: Turkey Hash over Toast (my version of S.O.S) This makes about 8 servings. Shopping list: 2 Lbs of frozen ground turkey 2 Packages of country gravy 1/2 bag of frozen veggies Bread for toasting ( or sub instant mashed potatoes) Shredded Cheese TURKEY HASH: 1) Put frozen turkey in crock. 2) Add 1 package of gravy 3) Add amount of water listed on the package 4) If you can, try to stir this mixture every hour or so if you can. 5) Add the other package of gravy once it is all done cooking (should look a little watery, no need to add more water) 6) Stir and break up all the meat so that it is a thick gravy consistency w/ no meat lumps. 7) Add pepper to taste (shouldn’t need salt!) PREP FOR DINNER: 1) Toast Bread (or prepare instant mashed potatoes) 2) Add the shredded cheese to top 3) Add the Hash on top of that. 4) Voilà ... Serve and enjoy!
