Peanut butter and banana milkshake

Time to prepare 5 minutes Serves 2 The thickness is regulated by adding extra bananas or reducing the amount of liquid. Add sweeteners if extra sweetness is desired. For a less sweet version use unsweetened plant milk. Soy protein powder makes the smoothie much thicker and is also better for those who need extra calories and protein.
LEVEL 1 SLIGHTLY THICK
l 300ml/½ pint sweetened plantbased milk l 3.5g/1 tsp cocoa powder l 15g/1 tbsp smooth peanut butter l 95g/1 banana
1 Blend all the ingredients together in a liquidiser. 2 Sieve the milkshake, then do a flow test to check IDDSI level before serving.
LEVEL 2 MILDLY THICK
l 200ml/¹⁄3 pint sweetened plantbased milk l 3.5g/1 tsp cocoa powder l 15g/1 tbsp smooth peanut butter l 95g/1 banana

Fortified with vegan protein powder l 200ml/¹⁄3 pint milkshake from basic recipe l 100ml sweetened plant-based milk l 20g soy protein powder
1 Blend all the ingredients together in a liquidiser. 2 Sieve fortified milkshake to avoid lumps, then do a flow test to check IDDSI level before serving.
LEVEL 4 EXTREMELY THICK
Fortified with vegan protein powder l 200g/¹⁄3 pint milkshake from basic recipe l 20g soy protein powder
