Northern Zip Leak combines the effective sealing power of linseed meal and a high-tech plasticizer for advanced results! The meal swells to seal the leaks and the plasticizer makes the repair more enduring. Not only does Northern Zip Leak repair current leaks, it continues to work in the system to prevent future leaks.
BENEFITS OF ZIP LEAK:
CORROSION PREVENTION: Zip Leak contains a corrosion inhibitor. WATER PUMP LUBRICATION: Enhanced because Northern Zip Leak also contains a non-oil, water pump lubricant. UNBIASED LEAK CONTROL: Zip Leak works in water or anti-freeze. Works in all types of coolant or anti-freeze, including long-life formulations. Draining the coolant is not necessary. Zip Leak may be installed in a dry system before coolant is added or may be added to a wet system already filled with coolant, draining and refilling the system is not necessary.
DIRECTIONS:
FOR MEDIUM & HEAVY DUT Y TRUCKS, TRACTORS, CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT AND OTHER L ARGE COOLING SYSTEMS: Remove the radiator cap before operating the engine then run the engine until it reaches normal operating temperature. Add 1/2 of container of Northern Zip Leak and operate the vehicle at operating temperature until the leak stops. If the leak fails to stop after 15 minutes of run time, add the other 1/2 container and run till leak stops. NEVER add more than one container to any truck, industrial or agricultural vehicle under any circumstance. FOR AUTOMOTIVE SYSTEMS: Use the same procedure as above but add only 1 tablespoon of Northern Zip Leak. If the leak persists add a 2nd Tablespoon. NEVER add more than 2 tablespoons to any automotive cooling system.
