1st Day Arrival in Bilbao: pick-up at the airport of Bilbao. Transfer to the hotel. Room distribution, dinner and accommodation.

2nd Day Bilbao – Basque gastronomy: breakfast. Trip to stroll through the historic centre of Bilbao. At the agreed time you will have an excellent lunch in a Basque gastronomy restaurant. Free afternoon to enjoy the city. Return to the hotel, dinner and accommodation.

3rd Day Winery in Laguardia – “Pinchos” in Logroño: breakfast. Trip to the “Rioja Alavesa”. In the picturesque town of Laguardia, you will have the opportunity to visit a D. O. Spanish winery (tickets, free explanation and tasting included). After that, a guided tour of the “tapas” area of Logroño for lunch is included. There,

you will be able to taste some of the best and typical “Pinchos”. Return to the hotel, dinner and accommodation.

4th Day Asturian cider house- Gijón- Oviedo: breakfast. The gastronomy trip continues in Asturias. The first stop will be at one “Lagar” of the famous Asturian cider (tickets, free explanation and tasting included). Afterwards, you will enjoy a fantastic lunch in Gijón based on Asturian dishes. In the afternoon, there will be some free time to stroll around and discover the secrets of the stylish city of Oviedo. Arrival at the hotel in Oviedo. Room distribution, dinner and accommodation.

5th Day Sanxenxo- “Mariscada” – Albariño winery- Cambados: breakfast. The trip continues towards Galicia. Arrival in the

tourist town of Sanxenxo. Distribution of rooms. Departure to discover Rías Baixas. You will be welcomed there with a delicious “mariscada” in a local restaurant. 6th Day Santiago de Compostela – “Cocido” in Lalín –“Monasterio de Carboeiro”:

breakfast. Trip to Santiago de Compostela. First, you will walk around the beautiful capital of Galicia. Then you will move to the Deza area to enjoy one of the most representative dishes of the Galician area, “el cocido gallego”. 1st Day Madrid – Navarra: pickup at Madrid Airport. Departure towards Pamplona, making brief stops during the route (lunch at the client´s expense). Continuation of the journey. Arrival at the hotel. Distribution of rooms. There, you will have a brief presentation of the journey. Pilgrim’s credentials and shells will be handed. Dinner and accommodation.

2nd Day Saint Pied et Port –Roncesvalles – Pamplona: breakfast. Departure to Saint Jean Pied de Port. This town still exudes a medieval aura thanks to its citadel perched on a hill; its cobbled streets; its church and bridge over the river Nive as well as the thousands of pilgrims who come on foot from the centre of Europe or arrive from Spain to start their pilgrimage. Then, you will head to Roncesvalles. Here there will be free time for lunch (at the client´s expense). The visit will continue accompanied by an official guide. In this place, “Colegiata de Nuestra Señora de Roncesvalles” stands out. Its church is one of the first gothic style temples built in Spain under the criteria of the French canons. Return to the hotel, dinner and accommodation.

3rd Day Pamplona – Puente la Reina – Estella- Logroño: breakfast. Departure to visit Pamplona accompanied by an official guide You will visit the Old Quarter of this city. In addition to this, you will have the opportunity to walk through its bustling streets, so often trampled by bulls in the famous “encierros de San Fermín”. It is possible to walk along the few kilometres that separate the bull corrals from the slope of Santo Domingo. Then, you will reach the bullring, passing through the “plaza del Ayuntamiento” and walking up Estafeta Street, where you can taste deli-

cious “pinchos”. It will be also visited “Plaza del Castillo” and San Nicolás street, where there is a rich gastronomy offer. Finally, you will visit “Plaza de San José” and “El Redín”, which are both next to the city’s main monument: the Cathedral (tickets included). Free time for lunch (at the client´s expense). In the afternoon, departure towards “Puente la Reina”, whose bridge, with six semicircular arches and five pillars, is one of the most beautiful monuments on this route. Afterwards, the tour continues to Estella, a monumental city born in the heat of the Way of Saint James. It treasures palaces, stately homes, churches, convents, bridges and beautiful buildings that have earned it the nickname of “Toledo of the north”. After the visit, transfer to Logroño. Arrival at the hotel, dinner and accommodation.

4th Day Logroño

– Nájera –Santo Domingo de la CalzadaBurgos: breakfast. Departure accompanied by an official guide in order to visit the second big city of the French Way. Its old quarter is full of bars (“Laurel”, “Mayor”, “Mercado” streets) and shops (“Portales” street) with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. You will visit the Cathedral of “Santa María de la Redonda” (ticket included), which owes its name to an ancient Romanesque church built on the same site as the present one. Free time for lunch (at the client’s expense). In the afternoon, you will go to Nájera which, located near a Roman castra, revolves around the monastery and the church of Santa María la Real (ticket included). Your journey continues to Santo Domingo De La Calzada. It is one of the most deeply marked towns in La Rioja by the Way of St. James. Here, you will visit the Cathedral (ticket included), the most emblematic building of this town. In

the afternoon, the journey continues until reaching Burgos. Arrival at the hotel, dinner and accommodation.

5th Day Burgos – Carrión de los Condes – León: breakfast. Panoramic sightseeing of the city of Burgos accompanied by an official guide. Then, visit to its Cathedral (ticket included), one of the most famous in the world. Inside is the tomb of El Cid and above the triforium is the famous “Papamoscas”, an automaton that sings every hour by opening its mouth and wielding the clapper of a bell. Free time for lunch (at the client´s expense). Then, you will travel on to Carrión De Los Condes, a town that was founded as a place of accommodation for pilgrims. The Monastery of San Zoilo (ticket included), now converted into a luxury guest house, still conserves a magnificent Renaissance cloister. Continue on to Sahagún. This town had in the 15th century four hospitals for pilgrims, articulated around the Monastery of San Facundo, with a total of nine churches. At the agreed time, departure to León. Arrival at the hotel, dinner and accommodation.

6th Day León – Astorga – Santiago: breakfast. In the morning, visit of León accompanied by an official guide It is outstanding the Cathedral of Santa María (12th-13th C.), in Gothic style, which began to be built around 1205 (ticket included). Another remarkable building is the Royal Basilica of San Isidoro, one of the great treasures of Spanish Romanesque architecture. It consists of the church itself, the Royal Pantheon and a museum. Afterwards, departure to Astorga,

a city where six Roman roads converged. Free time for lunch (at the client’s expense). After lunch, visit the Roman city of Asturica Augusta accompanied by an official guide (Astorga). The Cathedral of Santa Maria, whose western façade is in the Plateresque style, will be visited (ticket included). Also worth mentioning are the Gaudi´s Episcopal Palace and the Town Hall, with a curious clock in which two “maragatos” mark the hours. At the previously arranged time, departure towards Santiago de Compostela. Arrival at the hotel. Distribution of rooms, dinner and accommodation.

7th Day Santiago de Compostela: breakfast. Departure to start the visit of Santiago de Compostela accompanied by an official guide You will go to “O Monte do Gozo” from where it is possible to see Santiago de Compostela. There a short walk on foot will begin, covering the last 5 km that every pilgrim walks to reach the baroque towers of the Cathedral. From there the visit of this city will begin. You will have the opportunity to enjoy: its Cathedral (ticket included); the “Hostal de Los Reyes Católicos”, nowadays converted into a Tourism Parador; the Benedictine monastery of San Martín Pinario; “Pazo de Raxoi” and the seat of the Town Hall, among others. Free time for lunch (at the client’s expense) and to stroll around the city. Return to the hotel, dinner and accommodation.

8th Day Santiago de Compostela – Madrid: breakfast. Return to Madrid. Brief stops during the route (lunch at the client´s expense). Arrival and end of our services.

1st Day Arrival in Bilbao –Hondarribia: pick up at Bilbao airport. Meeting with accompanying guide specialised in the Way of St. James and driver. Transfer to the Parador de Hondarribia. Distribution of rooms. Welcome cocktail with a brief presentation of the programme and hanging over credentials and pilgrim’s shells. Dinner in a restaurant and accommodation.

2nd Day San Sebastián – Bilbao – Limpias: breakfast. Transfer to San Sebastián, where, accompanied by a local guide, you will visit its main attractions, such as San Telmo Museum, “Peine del Viento” or the Kursal. They are examples of how the city combines both tradition and modernity in its layout. Lunch in a typical restaurant The route will continue to Bilbao. There you will have free time to discover the city, whose old quarter is a combination of avant-garde and tradition. This place is full of charming streets and bars with “pintxos”. You will also make a stop at the Guggenheim Museum whose ground-breaking structures created by prestigious architects are already an international reference of modernity. At the agreed time you will be in Limpias, a beautiful Cantabrian village. Arrival at the Parador, room distribution, dinner and accommodation.

3rd Day Santander – Comillas – Santillana del Mar: breakfast. Today your route begins through the Cantabrian region by visiting its capital: Santander. With an official guide you will make a tour of this elegant city that seems to be taken out of a fairy tale. Its life revolves around its bay, recognised as one of the most beautiful in the world. It also stands out by its stately buildings and palatial constructions with

avant-garde architecture and an unmistakable echo of its fishing tradition. Lunch in a typical restaurant. In the afternoon you will discover two other magical places. First, Comillas, declared a historic-artistic site, due to its cobbled streets, its small squares with ancestral mansions, and its towers and buildings with a modernist air. At this point, “El Capricho” stands out (ticket included) It is a construction by Antoni Gaudí, which counts with an unmistakable portico and ceramic decorations on its walls. You will finish the day in Santillana del Mar, a surprising medieval town. It magnificently preserves its important historic centre. Arrival at the Parador de Santillana del Mar. 4th Day Cueva del Soplao” – San Vicente de la Barquera – Llanes – Gijón: breakfast. Your adventure will start by visiting a real underground jewel such as “Cueva del Soplao” (ticket included). Its 20 kilometres of natural galleries and its spectacular set of eccentric formations leaves no one indifferent. You will approach San Vicente de la Barquera for lunch in a typical restaurant in this charming village. A former fishermen’s refuge, which represents one of the most picturesque views of the Cantabrian coast, with its beaches, its old town and the exceptional backdrop of the snow-capped peaks of Picos de Europa. Your route will continue in Asturias. You will make a brief stop in Llanes, where there will be free time to visit its most emblematic places on your own, such as the San Pedro and San Antón promenades, Carrocedo River and its port. At the agreed time, departure to Gijón. Arrival at the Parador de Gijón, distribution of rooms, dinner and accommodation.

5th Day Oviedo – Luarca –Cudillero – Ribadeo: breakfast. Departure to Oviedo, the capital of the Principality of Asturias. Accompanied by an official guide you will visit the most relevant parts of the city, such as its Cathedral (ticket included) and its historic centre with an unquestionable medieval flavour. Lunch – “espicha” in a typical restaurant There you will be introduced to the amazing Asturian cuisine and its star drink: cider. The next stop in this trip is two villages that maintain all their seafaring tradition. First Luarca, a quiet village of white houses, and later Cudillero, a small and picturesque fishing port nestled on the side of a mountain. This place is well-known because of its hanging houses with eaves and brightly coloured windows. It stands on a steep horseshoe of cliffs around the port. Your last stop today will be Ribadeo, a town with a stately appearance. In its surroundings is the “Praia Das Catedrais”, one of the most beautiful beaches on the Galician coast. Its rocks trace natural arches, resembling a cathedral; and if the tides allow us, you will visit it. Arrival at the Parador de Ribadeo, distribution of rooms, dinner and accommodation. 6th Day Mondoñedo – Lugo – Santiago: breakfast. Departure to Mondoñedo, in the heart of the Northern Way whose old quarter has been declared a Site of Cultural Interest. Here, it also stands out as a National Monument its Cathedral: “Basílica de la Asunción”. This building preserves the primitive Romanesque façade with a beautiful rose window and Baroque towers. The next stop will be Lugo, a city that preserves important traces of its Roman past. It is including its millenary wall, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. It will be

some free time to stroll through its quiet pedestrian streets, wide squares and landscaped areas. Here, buildings such as the Cathedral, the Archbishop’s Palace and the Town Hall stand out. Lunch in a typical restaurant. At this point, you will reach the end of the “Camino”. As good pilgrims, you will approach “O Monte do Gozo”, a place from which Santiago can already be seen. From here you will walk for about 5 km, to the main goal: The Cathedral of Santiago (ticket included), where you will perceive the essence of the “Camino”. Free time. Arrival at the Parador de Santiago. Distribution of rooms, dinner and accommodation.

7th Day Santiago de Compostela: breakfast. Meeting with an official guide for a guided tour of this magical city. Here, for centuries, thousands of pilgrims have walked the Way of Saint James every year with a dream to fulfil: to reach the capital of Galicia and enter into its now mythical Cathedral. There, the tradition says that the remains of the apostle St. James are buried, which were discovered in the 9th century. Free time for lunch (at the client’s expense) and to discover the city on your own. It has countless restaurants and bars where you can taste the exquisite seafood of Galicia. Its impressive historic centre, declared World Heritage by UNESCO, counts with squares also full of charm such as ones called “Praterías” and “Quintana” as well as the majestic Monastery of San Martiño Pinario, among others impressive places. Day Valença Do Minho –A Guarda – “Sta. Tecra” – Baiona- Vigo: breakfast. After the visit of Valença do Minho, it is time to leave Portugal. The first stop you will make today is in A Guarda. There, you will go up to “Monte Santa Tecla” (ticket included). In addition to this, you will visit the best Celtic settlement in Galicia where you will have some wonderful pictures of the mouth of the Miño River. Free time for lunch (at the client’s expense). There you will have a panoramic view of “El Grado” reservoir and the old hermitage. Free time for lunch (at the client’s expense). Then, you will head towards Aínsa. You will pass through beautiful landscapes around the “El Grado” and “Mediano” reservoirs, such as Abizanda. It is a small village located at the foot of a medieval fortress that conserves part of the walled enclosure. 1st Day Arrival in Lisbon: pick-up at Lisbon airport. Transfer to the hotel. Distribution of rooms, dinner and accommodation.

2nd Day Lisbon Centre – St. George’s Castle: breakfast Departure for a guided tour of the historical centre of the Portuguese capital. You will walk through areas such as “Barrio Alto”, “Chiado”, “Plaza del Rosio”, “Plaza de los restauradores”, “Plaza del Comercio”, among other impressive places. You will discover the charms of this ancient city. Free time for lunch (at the client’s expense). In the afternoon, you will go to the traditional Alfama district and visit the Castle of St. George (ticket included). From here you will be able to admire one of the best panoramic views of Lisbon. Return to the hotel. Dinner and accommodation.

3rd Day Lisbon – “Torre De Belem” – “Monasterio Dos Jerónimos”: breakfast Departure

to visit two of the most representative icons of Lisbon: “Torre De Belem” (ticket included) and the Monument of the Discoveries. Then you will taste the famous Belem cakes (2 per person included) at the “Antiga Confeitaria de Belem”. Free time for lunch (at the client’s expense). In the afternoon, you will visit the “Monasterio de los Jerónimos” (ticket included) declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Then, you will have free time for shopping or just have a delicious Portuguese coffee on a terrace overlooking the sea. Return to the hotel. Dinner and accommodation.

4th Day Sintra – Cascais – Estoril: breakfast. Full day trip along the coast of Lisbon. You will start the day in Sintra. This was the resting place of the Portuguese and European monarchy and aristocracy, recognised by UNESCO for the richness of its heritage. You will visit the Pena Palace and Park (ticket included). Free time for lunch (at the client’s expense). In the afternoon you will go to the beautiful towns of Cascais

and Estoril. They are known worldwide for their tourist atmosphere. On the way to Cascais you will stop at “A Boca do Inferno”. This place is famous for its beauty that can be seen when the waves penetrate between the rocks after hitting the cliffs. Return to the hotel. Dinner and accommodation.

5th Day Mafra – Obidos: breakfast Departure to the town of Mafra. Its Palace-Convent (ticket included) integrates into the same imposing building a palace, a basilica and a convent. It is considered the most impressive religious building in the country with more than 650 rooms. Free time for lunch (at the client´s expense). In the afternoon, you will visit Óbidos: the most beautiful of the Portuguese medieval villages. The medieval walls surround this beautiful town crowned by its castle. From there, its cobbled streets and picturesque white houses start. Return to the hotel. Dinner and accommodation.

6th Day Serra Da Arrabida – Sesimbra – Cabo Espichel: breakfast. Full day trip to enjoy a tour of the Arrábida mountain range. This is a Natural Park of great scenic relevance and with viewpoints that offer breathtaking views. You will arrive at Sesimbra, which boasts of having been an important port of the Portuguese maritime empire. You will also have the opportunity to visit Sesimbra Castle. Free time for lunch (at the client’s expense). This day will end at “Cabo Espichel”. There, besides the immensity of the Atlantic, you will find the mysticism of the Sanctuary of Nossa Senhora do Cabo. This place is open to worship since the 14th century. Return to the hotel. Dinner and accommodation.

7th Day Return: breakfast. Transfer to Lisbon airport. End of our services.

1st Day Lisbon: Meeting with the official guide for a visit of Lisbon. You will visit: “Plaza Restauradores”, the famous “Plaza del Rossio” and its historical centre. Then, you will visit Chiado. It is one of Lisbon’s most traditional and elegant neighbourhoods, located between “Baixa Pombalina” and “Bairro Alto”. It is full of cafés, shops and bookshops. In Chiado, you will relive the atmosphere surrounding the Portuguese Romanticism era. This place was a

meeting point for many of the intellectual Portuguese writers belonging to that time. You will pass by the emblematic café “A Brasileira”. Here you can see a characteristic statue in honour of Fernando Pessoa, who was one of Portugal’s most striking literary figures. You will continue your tour in the main square of Lisbon: “Plaza del Comercio”, Augusta Street and Triumphal Arch. The next stop will be at the “Iglesia del Santo António”. Then, you will continue to

the Santa Luzia viewpoint, below the Castle of St. George, which we will visit on this tour. Free time for lunch (at the client’s expense). After lunch, you will continue your tour with a first stop at the “Torre de Belém” (ticket included), a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1983. It was a 16th-century fortress and the starting point of the Portuguese caravels. Close to the Tower, you will also find the “Estándar de Descubrimientos”. It is a monument in the shape of a

caravel that marks the importance of this period for Portugal. You will continue your visit to the interior of the “Monasterio de los Jerónimos” (ticket included). It was built in 1502 in the Manueline architectural style. After that, you will have some free time to visit the famous Belém pastry shop and taste its typical “Pasteles de Belém” (2 per person included). Transfer to the hotel and end of our services.

1st Day O Douro Valley You will enjoy a day complete marked by authentic experiences full of tradition and flavour. During this trip, you will discover one of the most beautiful regions of Portugal: O Douro considered a UNESCO World Heritage Site O Douro Valley has a unique landscape created by its vineyards. Here emerged the world’s first demarcated wine region in 1756.

The day will start with the pick-up of the clients from their hotel in the city of Porto. Then, you will leave the motorway to discover the roads surrounded by hundreds of terraces. Here grow the lush vineyards that produce the incomparable wine of this unique region. Near Régua, at the viewpoint of São Leonardo da Galafura, you will enjoy a wonderful view of O Douro valley and of “Serra do Marão”.

You will stroll through the alleys of the typical villages. In addition to this, you will have the opportunity to visit a famous “Quinta” (ticket included) Here you can taste the various types of DOC and Port wines, always accompanied by regional products of the time. In this context, you will enjoy lunch in “Tras-os-Montes” in a typical regional restaurant.

In the afternoon, you will have the opportunity to take a traditional boat trip (ticket included) on the Douro River for about 1 hour.
