ARTIST BIOGRAPHIES ROY EIKLEBERRY ( S a m )

is excited to be making his return to ROLT after appearing in Yeast Nation as Jan-theWretched. Originally from the Appalachian foothills of Ohio, Roy now regularly performs with the San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus (SFGMC) and other companies throughout the Bay Area including 42nd Street Moon, Opera Paralélle and Mojo Theatre. Recently, Roy appeared with the SFGMC, singing backup for Ms. Patti LuPone. He looks forward to this summer’s GALA Festival in Denver where he’ll sing with both SFGMC and the Lollipop Guild.

ALEXANDRA FEIFERS (Kate)

hails from the "land down under" and has performed in Beauty and the Beast, Children of Eden, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and The Wizard of Oz with Harvest Rain Theatre Company. She played Demeter in Cats and was awarded Del’Arte Chart Awards for her performances in Starlight Theatre Co-Op’s Forbidden Broadway and as Yente in Fiddler on the Roof for which she also garnered a Matilda Award nomination. Alexandra has played Gary Coleman in Avenue Q, Woman 2 in Songs For a New World, Melpomene in Xanadu and was in the ensemble in Little Shop of Horrors. She also wrote, produced and starred in the cabaret Wintour is Coming.

AYELET FIRSTENBERG

(Dolores) is thrilled to be taking part in her first Ray of Light production! She recently moved to San Francisco from New York, where she performed in eight productions over two years, including two off-Broadway shows. KATHRYN FOX HART (Madeline

True) is thrilled to be making her Ray of Light debut in The Wild Party! Hailing from the Bay Area, Ms. Hart received her bachelor of music from the Catholic University of America and has performed around the country, from New York to San Diego and places in between. Favorite productions include Sleeping Beauty Wakes (La Jolla Playhouse), Dogfight and Promises, Promises (San Francisco Playhouse), Dogfight (OMG, I Love That Show! PAUL GRANT HOVANNES (Burrs)

spent most of 2015 with Ray of Light Theatre, appearing as Kurt in Heathers: The Musical, as Riff Raff in The Rocky Horror Show, and putting his teenage angst to music in the Spotlight Cabaret Sings Like Teen Spirit. He had the honor of portraying Harvey Milk for selections from Andrew Lippa’s I Am Harvey Milk in the recent SFGMC concert Tales of Our City: Our Lives Our Heroes. He sends love and gratitude to everyone at ROLT, his SFGMC brothers, Sara Moore of Circus Center’s Clown Conservatory and the group of weirdos he’s proud to call family.

MALAKANI SEVERSON (Jackie)

is ecstatic to make his Bay Area theatre debut with ROLT. Born and raised on Oahu, favorite theatre credits include Xanadu (Sonny Malone), The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (William Barfee), South Pacific (Billy Whitmore) and Legally Blonde (Carlos). Television and film credits include the indie films B.E. (Ben) and It’s Just Business (Logan), as well as a featured role on Hawaii 5-0 (Aaron Cole). He thanks his support system of loved ones - especially Bubba. He dedicates this performance to his late grandma whose love and presence lives on.

RAMOND THOMAS (Black)

has performed in Memphis the Musical as Delray, Thunder Knocking On The Door as Marvel Thunder, Night of the Living Dead as Ben, Hoodoo Love as Ace of Spaids, Working as Rex/ Utkarsh and Mitch Mahoney in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.

ANDREW LIPPA (Book, Music,

Lyrics) was Tony-nominated for the music and lyrics The Addams Family. He wrote the music and lyrics for Big Fish and the words and music to the original theatrical oratorio I Am Harvey Milk, which received its world premiere in 2013 with the San Francisco Gay Mens’ Chorus, starring Mr. Lippa (as Harvey Milk) and Laura Benanti. He also wrote the music for the Broadway production of Aaron Sorkin’s play The Farnsworth Invention. Other musicals include the Drama Desk Award-winning musical The Wild Party (book, music and lyrics), A Little Princess (music), john & jen (music, book co-author), Asphalt Beach (music and lyrics) and You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown (additional music and lyrics and arrangements). Mr. Lippa was music director for Kristin Chenoweth's sold-out shows at the Metropolitan Opera House, Carnegie Hall and other venues. Accolades include a Tony and Grammy nomination, the

Gilman/Gonzalez-Falla Theater Foundation Award, ASCAP’s Richard Rodgers/New Horizons Award, the Drama Desk and the Outer Critics Circle Award. Mr. Lippa serves on the council of The Dramatists Guild and is a graduate of The University of Michigan School of Music.

JENN BEVARD ( D i r e c t o r )

received her MFA in directing from the Theatre School at DePaul University in Chicago where she directed and choreographed The Conduct of Life, Waiting for Lefty, Ghosts, The Lover, The Pillowman and The Four Twins by Copi. She has collaborated with the Lucky Plush Productions dance company and the Pavement Group, co-directed and choreographed Counterfeiters b y A a r o n We i s s m a n w i t h Dog & Pony Theatre Co. and worked on West Edge Opera’s production of Lulu at Oakland’s abandoned 16th Street Station. She is thrilled to be returning to direct The Wild Party after assisting on ROLT’s The Rocky Horror Show in 2015.

(Music Director) is pleased to be returning to ROLT with this production after music directing The Rocky Horror Show with ROLT last year (SFBATCC nomination). A Bay Area native, his past music directing credits include Bridges, Grey Gardens ( T B A n o m i n e e , S F B AT C C winner), Blood Wedding (TBA nominee) and Mr. Irresistible. He is the resident music director at Menlo School and a graduate of Brown University, where he received the Weston Arts Award for Instrumental Performance (Piano). Past projects include The Wedding Singer, 42nd Street and The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (San Mateo High School), Beauty and the Beast, Miss Saigon, and Ragtime (Broadway by the Bay) and The Color Purple, Rent, and The Crucible with the Department of Theater & Performance Studies at Stanford University.

SIBILLA CARINI (Costume Co-

Designer) is a San Francisco State alum and has been creating costumes in the Bay Area for several years. She is, as always, traveling between the worlds of theatre and film, production design and costumes. After her return from New York, she dove head first 6

Designer) is based in the Bay Area and has designed for theatre, opera, and dance, and tours as the lighting designer for the American circus company Cirque Mechanics. Recent designs include Lizzie, The Rocky Horror Show, Heathers: The Musical (Ray of Light Theatre), The Letters (Aurora Theatre Company), West Side Story (Broadway By the Bay) and The Full Monty (Contra Costa Musical Theatre). Joe’s designs have been nominated for both TBA and SFBATCC awards, and in 2014, he won a TBA for his lighting design for Triassic Parq. Joe is a graduate of the theatre arts program at San Francisco State University where he received his BA in lighting design.

LARAINE GURKE (Production

Manager) is thrilled to be back at ROLT after stage managing last season’s Lizzie, 2014’s Yeast Nation and 2009’s The Who’s Tommy. Laraine is a freelance stage manager and technician who has worked at various companies throughout the Bay Area including We Players, Aurora Theatre Company, Center REPertory Company, New Conservatory Theatre Center, Broadway By the Bay, Killing My Lobster, Tranimation Studios, Berkeley Playhouse and Altarena Playhouse. Recently, she was backstage at Beach Blanket Babylon for two and a half years and is currently the resident stage manager for Musical Theatre Works, a theatre company for young actors in San Francisco.


ANTON HEDMAN ( S o u n d Engineer) has provided custom sound design, theater sound reinforcement and engineering, DJ services, and live/studio recording for theaters, clubs and corporate and private events since 1991. ERIK LADUE (Scenic Designer) is a designer, installation artist and

dérive enthusiast. His Bay Area credits include Next to Normal, Superior Donuts, How The World Began and Late: A Cowboy Song (Custom Made Theatre Co.), Whale’s Wake, REDWOLF, Time Sensitive, Thru the Wall (Ragged Wing Ensemble), Year of the Rooster (Impact Theatre), Company, South Pacific (Youth Musical Theatre Company), Blood Wedding (The Breadbox) and Charlotte’s Web (Marin Theatre Company). JOSHUA MARX (Fight Director) is a recent transplant from New York. A certified SAFD combatant, Joshua has done fight work all over the country, notably with Alabama Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. In the Bay Area, Joshua has done fights for West Side Story (Broadway By the Bay, TBA nominee) and Heathers: The Musical with ROLT (TBA nominee). As an actor, Joshua is a proud member of Actor’s Equity, performing with professional theaters across the United States and abroad. Joshua also runs and manages FloodLight Productions, which specializes in producing interactive, immersive theatre. He is currently directing Oklahoma! at Broadway By the Bay. ANASTASIA WILLISON (Props Designer) is thrilled to make her debut with ROLT as the props designer for The Wild Party. A recent graduate of San Francisco State University, Anastasia holds a BA in technical theatre production, design and scenic painting. While in school, she assisted with scenic painting and designed props and scenery for productions such as Dead’s Man Cell Phone and Into the Woods. Since then, she has worked

with IATSE Local 16, assisting with props at various theaters including A.C.T. and the Curran. In her last production, The Zoo Story, she collaborated on shadow design and operation for the Aluminous Theatre Company.

ALEX WOLF (Stage Manager) is a graduate of UCLA’s School of Theater, Film and Television, and is happy to return to the Bay Area as a professional freelance stage manager. Her stage management work spans six years and includes Los Angeles-based companies such as The Industry LA and The Pacific Theatre Company, as well as Broadway By the Bay locally. Her previous work includes stage managing for Tony Award winner Mel Shapiro and Urban Theater Movement’s Richard Martinez. Alex would like to thank her family and boyfriend for always being supportive of her career in the arts.

MELISSA WORTMAN (Costume Co-Designer) last designed for ROLT's Bay Area premiere of Lizzie. A San Francisco native, Melissa has designed costumes for numerous Bay Area theater and dance companies, including 30+ productions for Lamplighters Music Theatre, A.C.T., Marin Ballet, Dance Through Time, Abydos Theater, Allegro Theater Company and Kitka. Melissa is celebrating her tenth year as resident costume designer for the Bracebridge Dinner, held annually at the historic Ahwahnee Hotel in Yosemite. She is the recipient of numerous SFBATCC and DramaLogue awards and nominations. She has also constructed costumes for Lucasfilms’ Return of the Jedi, Frank Zappa, Oakland Ballet, Woodminster Summer Musicals, Festival Opera, Colorado Shakespeare Festival, San Francisco Miniature Theatre and Beach Blanket Babylon.
