Vaccinations 35 Essential Telephone Nos
Chris Evans on Virgin Radio UK recently interviewed the two ladies, Prof Sarah Gilbert and Dr Catherine Green, who invented the AstraZeneca vaccine and have now written a book entitled Vaxxers.
The reason they have written the book is because Catherine was standing in a queue on holiday waiting for pizza and heard a person in front saying they wouldn’t have the vaccine as they didn’t know what was in it. This made her realise they neededto explain how it came to be. It probably won’t change your mind but it was interesting to hear that they had been working on the Coronavirus vaccine for the past twenty years so it just needed tweaking to fit this strain.
