Transitional with a Twist Kitchen Remodel

The main goal of the project was to work within the existing space to maximize the functionality for a family friendly kitchen. Galley kitchens are often the most practical and functional, but the existing kitchen was lacking in those departments. By making some modifications to the sizes of appliances and location of the island, we were able to create an open space that's perfect for both every day use and entertaining.

The 48" range as a focal point in the space with a custom hood made on site. The open space around the hood and open shelves in the corner actually make the kitchen feel more open and airy.

The elimination of the peninsula and addition of a large island made a huge different in the functionality of the space. Now the island acts as a multipurpose area for family meals, school projects, and also includes a beverage refrigerator and sink for easy entertaining.
