Smithy Gardens Chirbury
Smithy Gardens is a development of 5 homes for rent that resulted from working in partnership with Powis Estates. The development has the capacity to house 17 people with a local connection. Two of the properties are for tenants of the estate. The project enabled estate tenants to downsize, therefore making valuable family homes available for those who need them. COMPLETION DATE: March 2010 These are homes that both we and the tenants can be proud of, and demonstrates what can be achieved with thought and careful planning. They will be an asset to the small community and less of a burden on the environment than many new homes. Paul Sutton, Executive Director for Assets and Development.
Lord Powis and invited guests opening the new homes.
