DRIVE OUT CANCER EXPECTED TO SELL OUT On Wednesday, September 19, 144 golfers will tee off at Musket Ridge Golf Club in Myersville, MD at Hope Connections for Cancer Support’s annual Drive Out Cancer Golf Tournament. Drive Out Cancer has sold out the past two years and is expected to do so again this year. As of today, 93% of the spots are reserved. The $200 per person or $700 per foursome fee includes greens fees, carts, practice balls, breakfast, an awards luncheon, prizes and a goody bag. To register for the tournament and for information on sponsorship opportunities, visit www.HopeConnectionsForCancer.org (click on events) or call 301-493-5002. The tournament is a flighted scramble format that kicks off with a continental breakfast at 8:15 a.m., followed by a shotgun start at 9:00 a.m. An awards luncheon will take place immediately following the tournament, where prizes will be given for each flight, as well as for the longest yard and closest to the pin for both men and women. A par three “beat the schmoe” and a putting contest will provide other opportunities to win prizes. Drive Out Cancer benefits Hope Connections for Cancer Support, a Bethesda nonprofit whose mission is to help people with cancer and their loved ones deal with the emotional and physical impact of cancer through participation in professionally facilitated programs of emotional support, education, wellness and hope. Thanks to the generosity of donors, all programs at Hope Connections are provided free of charge to those affected by cancer. ### 5430 Grosvenor Lane, Suite 100, Bethesda, MD 20814 Phone: 301-493-5002 Fax: 301-493-5004 E-mail: hopeconnectionsforcancer.org www.hopeconnectionsforcancer.org
