A high-design, high-tech thermal experience
Scandinative elevates the Nordic hot-cold-relax ritual. Most thermal facilities worldwide are either clinical or rustic. Comprehensive contrast therapy is rare in the US, but Scandinative fills this gap, offering a full circuit experience within a restorative spa setting.
WhereThe flagship location of Scandinative is in Brewster, Massachusetts, a peaceful Cape Cod haven just 90 miles south of Boston.
Guests embark on a silent journey, solo or with friends, through a thermal circuit of warm pools, saunas, steam rooms, cold plunges, and relaxation zones, repeating the hot-cold-relax cycle 2 to 3 times over 2 to 3 hours.

“When someone enters a space I’ve designed, I don’t want them to say ‘wow.’ I want them to say ‘ahhh.’”
– Clodagh
“Cape Cod’s sea breezes, seagull cries, and soft sand demand a design that honors its tranquility. I believe in ‘silent design’— minimizing visual noise to allow stillness and sharpen the senses dulled by modern life.
At Scandinative, I wanted guests to feel transported, whether to a Nordic bathhouse or another dimension. The thermal circuit is intuitively designed, encouraging both communal energy and peaceful solitude. Everything feels effortless and natural.”

Scandinative was born from Founder Suzanne Corcoran’s visit to a thermal spa in Québec in 2016. The experience of alternating between warm and cold plunge pools awakened an unmatched sense of presence and wellbeing. Suzanne, a wellness enthusiast with decades of hospitality experience, noticed the lack of comprehensive hot and cold contrast therapies in the U.S. Drawing inspiration from Scandinavian aesthetics and culture, she resolved to create a unique thermal experience that elevates health through high design and feel-good fulfillment.
