Scale Collaborative

Scale Collaborative works to build a strong social change sector on Vancouver Island. We support leaders, organizations and public institutions to incorporate enterprising and impactful approaches to strengthen local communities and social economy.

Since 2014, we have worked with hundreds of organizations and have convened initiatives such as Social Enterprise Catalyst (30+ partners), Coastal Communities Social Procurement Initiative (20+ members) and THRIVE ImpactInvestment Fund. In response to COVID-19 and in partnership with community allies, Scale supported 50+ non-profits and charities through ‘Survive & Thrive’ and ‘Thriving Non-Profit’ programs with a focus on financial resilience. Scale manages theDock - Centre for Social Impact, a community space for social entrepreneurship, coworking and community gathering, innovative programs and events.
