abou t me My name is Victoria and I am a Graphic Designer living in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania . I specialize in branding and retouching. I studied Graphic Design in both Los Angeles and Pittsburgh and over the past 5 years I have had the pleasure of expanding my career in both cities . I have 5 years wor king experience in the f ield, honing in on mar keting , adver tising , retouching and layou t skills . Wor ked along side photographers in the production and post-production process . Utilized Photoshop to color correct images to be implemented onto product pages , as well as used in digital and print mar keting.

VIDA BAL I

Created a visual brand identit y that speak s to the brand’s values and communicates the brand’s stor y through the design of a memorable and timeless logo that translates across all mediums .

MAGAZIN E

Created a st yle theme that represents the brand . Achieved a beau tiful and easy to digest visual experience by u tiliz ing a combination of photography and t ypography to create balance and f low from cover to cover.

RETOUCHING STUDIO

full studio edit Studio editing is a multi-step process . It includes cleaning up the background, enhancing lighting , correcting tones , and color matching products to the sample pieces . Color matching images guarantees the online product is an exact match to the physical product . This ensures that the item the customer viewed online matches the product they receive . This will help establish trust bet ween the consumer and the brand . In the event that a specif ic color was not photographed, a color shift would be execu ted on an image, as seen in the examples shown here .

product Preparing images for the online product page includes replacing the background with a solid color, adding shadows for realism and correcting tones . E ach image needs to be consistent with the physical product and a true representation of the st yle . Color matching the item being featured in the image, or changing the color completel y, is sometimes required . Consistenc y in cropping is key for creating unit y on the product page .


RETOUCHING ED ITORIA L

studio Editorial images are used in adver tising and catalogs . These images require basic color correcting and sometimes require more advanced edits (for example, removing the wall trim and expanding the background, shown in the photo edit on the left). On the right is an example of a product color shift .


VIDA BALI B R AN DING

logo Vida B ali is an eco friendl y brand . They donate a percentage of their proceeds to cleaning up the oceans . Bringing this brand’s identit y to life meant a lot to me as the environment is something I care deepl y abou t .

hang tags These beautiful bags are hand crafted by artisans in Bali, Indonesia. When designing the hand tags I not only wanted to tell the story behind the brand, but also compliment the brand’s earthy and environmentally clean characteristics through the design and layout. This gives the customer a fully engaging purchasing experience .

All elements in the design compliment each other in a way that creates an entirel y new wor k of ar t within the pages . I believe the reader should have an immersive experience and the magaz ine should be easil y digestible, all while maintaining the brand’s identit y throughou t . Magaz ine design is one of my favorite wor k s to explore and I look for ward to expanding these skills in the fu ture .
