ABOUT ME I am Victoria Morillas, an interior designer interested in retail, exhibitons and home design. I consider myself a fortunate person because my job and my career are my passion. I create what I feel and do it because I love it. My philosophy is to enjoy everything that I do. I understand design as a tool to make ideas come true. I can handle multiple projects at the same time and I am enthusiastic about exploring opportunities. I strive to constantly improve my design skills and knowledge. I’m 21 and currently based in Barcelona, Spain, where I am studying the last year of a Space Design degree in ELISAVA. At this moment I am working on ephemeral designs and commercial design projects.
My work crosses a broad range of categories in the interior design, from a creative and technical perspectives. I believe in using the right tools for the job and my skills to create a good designs are Autocad for 2D expression and Rhinoceros and Sketch up for the 3D models. My work experience includes exhibitions projects for the the Elisava Design department as junior designer. Also I have been colaborating in a construction and architectural company working on rendering and Photoshop. My greatest achievement to the moment has been the interior design of DOSMIL13 bar, located in Mallorca.

01 DOSMIL13 2013 Collaboration with Carolina Poch
Interior Design of the DOSMIL13 Bar located in Mallorca created in 2013. Designed by Carolina Poch as a graphic designer and myself. After making a study of references and proposals, we start to design. Carolina Poch designed the brand and the graphics applied to space and I designed the interior space.

concept The concept was to create an industrial space with comfortable and elegant characteristics. The client wanted a bar inspirated on “tapas bars� with fresher and more dinamic perspective.
users The users of DOSMIL13 Bar, are people who wants to enjoy the good mallorquin food with the best spanish products in a comfortable in a different kind of local.
requirements The goal of this project was to design the branding and the interior design of the bar. The dimensions and the characteristics of the local made difficult to decide the distribution, but we had tried to resolve it in the best way.

02 L’ARREL 2013 Collaboration with Laia Miralles and Clara Torra
Elisava’s project where I designed the interior space of a graffiters bar located in Barcelona. We made a reform for the Antic Teatre Bar to adapt it to a new target. We divided the bar in four areas making differents enviroments and spaces to satisface all the users needs.

concept New bar concept, workshop and exhibition, which brings together the essence of the urban world of graffiti art from another perspective, focused on a new vision of elegant and distinctive graffiti itself.
users The most direct target are taggers themselves, they find in the store, a work area and meeting the activity allowed legally and with the possibility of enhancing their art exhibition and market level.
requirements Initially, we chose the target, deciding that we focused on the urban art of graffiti. From choosing your audience, we developed a concept that clearly gave us the physical characteristics required space, thus choosing the local given optimal conditions met. And finally in the whole project elaborated formally.

03 ROCK WON’T SAVE YOU 2013 Collaboration with Olga Santano and Iris Fuentes
“Rock won’t save you” is an exhibiton project that talks about how the Rock & Roll evolved from 60’s to 90’s, and how rock artists’ life changed thought these years. The project solves all the requirement of the space distribution and graphic design.

concept The concept of this exhibition is to explain how music, shows, concerts and media have directly affected the lives of many artists such as Kurt Cobain, Janis Joplin or Ian Curtis, to change the course of their lives driving them to suicide.
users The target of this exhibition is all the people interested in music, concretly in the Rock&Roll from the 60’s to 90’s years.
requirements The goal was to adapt the first floor of the “Arts Santa Monica” gallery in differents areas with a very difficult characteristics like sounds equipments, video support or truss to hang metal supports. We had to design all the elements and create different environments to transmit the essence on every step of these artists’ life.

04 MODULAR ICE 2013 Collaboration with Olga Santano and Julia Viertman
Modular Ice is a project that involved designing an event for the launch of “Y-3 Adidas�, the new sportswear collection for the ice hockey team created by Yohji Yamamoto. It was meant to be a fashion show located in the Ice Palace of Futbol Club Barcelona where we had to design all the elements, structures, lights and sounds that were part of the event.

concept The project concept had to resolve spatial and enviromental characteristics to transmit the essence of Barcelona Ice players and the sport concept of Addidas by the designer Yohji Yamamoto.
users The target are all the people interested in fashion events related with the hockey team or sports in general.
requirements Resolve the space needs to create and design a fashion event in the “Ice Palace� considering that this place is not enabled for this kind of events.

Patterns is a project for a Ice Palace of Futbol Club Barcelona which want to resolve a space design with a different kind of proposal. It is a 3D structure made with wood located in the interior of the coffee-bar of the Ice Palace.
