An HD-SDI camera will only work with an HD-SDI DVR, so if you’re upgrading you will need a DVR as well as cameras.

HD-SDI footage can’t travel as far as an analogue signal. We recommend a maximum cable run of 100m, which can be extended with a repeater.

STORAGE

RATIO

Because HD-SDI captures 1080p HD footage, you will need more storage than with the equivalent analogue system

HD-SDI footage is in 16:9 ratio, so you will need to consider a monitor that displays in 16:9 ratio.

When an intruder enters a location secured by Videofied, the system sends a 10-second video clip to a monitoring station to show what triggered the alarm. Operators can then call the police if required.
