Vidyo on the Road: InfoComm and WebRTC Wrap-Ups

The Vidyo team hit the road last week attending InfoComm in Las Vegas and the WebRTC Conference and Expo in Atlanta. At both events, we participated in a number of industry panels and presentations, as well as demonstrated our latest advancements in visual communications and WebRTC technology to show attendees. InfoComm, June 18-20 The largest annual gathering of AV professionals in the world, this year’s show drew a record attendance of more than 37,000 visitors spanning 110 countries to sizzling Las Vegas. Our CEO, Ofer Shapiro, and VP of Strategic Marketing, Mark Noble, participated in a number of panels during the show, discussing hot topics including the future of desktop and mobile, smarter working and collaboration tools, and WebRTC. Additionally, Vidyo co-sponsored an IMCCA breakfast that demonstrated the latest UC technologies in the market. On the show floor, Vidyo’s booth buzzed with customers and attendees coming to check out our most recent product demonstrations. From our VidyoRoom™ Software Edition (SE) and 4K capabilities to our VidyoWorks™ enabled contact center reference design, visitors saw first-hand why Vidyo’s solutions were deemed as a must-see at this year’s show.

WebRTC Conference and Expo, June 17-19 Atlanta played host to the 4th annual WebRTC Conference and Expo. Vidyo’s Chief Scientist and Cofounder, Alex Eleftheriadis, and Solutions Architect, Ami Barzelay, spoke in a number of WebRTC conference sessions ranging from contact center integration, how to manage and scale WebRTC, and its role within customer service applications. Additionally, Alex delivered a keynote on Vidyo’s platform architecture highlighting why it is a perfect match for WebRTC, and introduced our new VidyoWorks™ JavaScript library for WebRTC that will be available to developers in September 2014. Vidyo showed a demo of the work we are doing on Scalable VP9, and demonstrated the advantages and flexibility of Vidyo’s software clients as you progress from desktop video conferencing, plug-in based web browser conferencing, and our native WebRTC client.
