Partners Meeting Agenda Briefing Document 1. Issues for review from February 2, 2012 Municipal Project Related City of Tulare completed a lighting project in 2011 that may not have been captured in VIEW savings. Lew was to provide information to Mark and Hammad to see if the project savings could be captured retroactively. Result? Hammad will provide Courtney and Maureen with the one page business case letter for why it is financially feasible to make the PC software change. IDSM Audit Reports were sent out on 02/29/2012. Are there any questions related to the findings? Community Savings Related Tulare County may have community savings that were not counted toward Partnership savings. Hammad is working with SCE internally to determine this. Any new information? 2. REPORT: Municipal energy savings reports from SCE, SCG and SJVCEO. a. SCE: Goal = 4,476,469 kWh and 1,018 kW. To date, goals have been met. Woo hoo! b. SCG: Goal = 85,000 therms. To date, Tulare County has 1,500 saved. Opportunities may exist at the City of Hanford (Paulo and Colby met with the City in January to examine) and in various WWTP projects in the region. 3. DISCUSSION: HVAC Optimization Program Southern California Edison is launching a new program that takes a holistic approach to HVAC maintenance. This program will be able to provide financial incentives for work completed—this is work that has to be done anyway, so why not receive incentive for the work through the new program? 4. Discussion: Changes to SCE On-Bill Financing The CPUC has tentatively approved SCE’s request for modification to the On Bill Financing program, the official ruling is expected by April. The fund will provide ≈ $15 million exclusively for Local Government and Institutional partnerships. The minimum financing is still $5,000, however like The Gas Company SCE can now combine the Service Accounts to receive an OBF loan.
