Local Government Partnerships “Peer to Peer” Working Group Agenda Briefing Document 1. Issues for Review from December 20, 2011 Energy Efficiency Programs • SCE energy efficiency programs will begin quarterly emails to partnerships with program changes and new offerings. • Report back on success and challenges with account managers • Update on EE credit for “up-streamed HVAC” • Revised Energy Action Plan template. Demand Response • SCE demand response will send email to partnerships to alert of program changes. • IDSM audits will be provided to implementers as well as the local governments. • Report back from SCE on DR enrollment for cities with fewer than four facilities greater than 100,000 kWh • Report back from DR on inclusion of partnership logos on DR co-branded materials Local Public Affairs • Report back on efforts to improve LPA and Partnership communication. Partnerships • Work group would provide a proposal for alternative methods to meet community energy savings by January 15, 2012. 2. DISCUSSION: Proposed Community Savings guidelines. The Peer to Peer group presented SCE with alternative suggestions to achieving community energy savings goals in the current and future partnership program cycles. That document is referred to as Attachment #2. An electronic copy is included with the agenda, and printed copies will be available at the March 2 meeting. 3. DISCUSSION: Comprehensive energy partnership branding. A request from the Partnerships to SCE and SCG (and PG&E where applicable): The Partnerships would like to open discussion about branding around the Energy Leader Partnership logo, SCE logo, SCG logo, and individual partnership logos. The ultimate co-branding! 4. DISCUSSION: What is covered under Technical Assistance? Another request that came from the Partners from the December 20th meeting: The Partnerships would like a resolution to Technical Assistance transparency. The group would appreciate a review of what Technical Assistance is, what it can be used for, and what it cannot be used for. Within the larger partnership group there is a reoccurring question, and perceived inconsistency in the message.
