Southern California Edison Energy Leader Partnership Proposed Alternative to Reach Community kWh Savings Goals in response to the Implementer Peer to Peer Work Group Proposed Scenario: Community Energy Efficiency Menu A City/County will meet the community criteria by completing activities promoting residential and nonresidential energy saving actions from the pre-determined “menu”. Cities may propose additional community marketing, education and outreach activities not listed on the preapproved menu to be considered on a case-by-case basis. Valued Tier Requirements Partnerships should continue completing the various core program coordination activities as outlined in the Program Implementation Plans. Silver Tier Requirements To fulfill the Energy Leader Partner model’s Silver level requirement for Community Outreach, a Partner City/County must: ● Complete 1 community outreach activity as listed on the menu below Gold Tier Requirements To fulfill the Energy Leader Partner model’s Gold level requirement for Community Outreach, a Partner City/County must: ● Complete 2 community outreach activities as listed on the menu below Platinum Tier Requirements To fulfill the Energy Leader Partner model’s Platinum level requirement for Community Outreach, a Partner City/County must: ● Complete 3 community outreach activities as listed on the menu below Community Energy-Efficiency Menu: 1. Distribute energy efficiency information in bills or business renewal notices. Information to be coordinated with SCE PM. 2. City Representative to deliver presentation on energy efficiency savings and sustainability to a local organization (i.e. Rotary Club or Chamber of Commerce) 3. Host an energy-efficiency workshop targeted towards a hard-to-reach sector (i.e. low income, very small business, non-English speaking customers) 4. Develop and publish energy-efficiency “success story” featuring a Partnership municipal retrofit project 5. Energy Champion (or other city representative) to present at City Council/Board of Supervisor meeting on Partnership overview, offerings, and current activities. 6. Place co-branded Partnership display/kiosk in municipal facility

Documentation Towards ELP Within 30 days of event/campaign completion, appropriate documentation should be submitted to SCE program manager for credit toward community goal. Progress toward goal would be reflected on the following quarter's ELP report card. Acceptable forms of documentation could include: ● Contract for event space rental, including event management company/event host attendance projections. ● Event fliers promoting local government partnership participation. ● Sign in sheets. ● Contact cards completed by the contact. ● Copy of invoice for printed or mailed materials.
