San Joaquin Valley Partnership Program May 2016 Focus: San Joaquin Valley kWh and peak kW reductions This Month’s Major Accomplishments: • Implementing Partner participated in the Rural Hard to Reach (RHTR) meetings and working group coordination. • SJVCEO Executive Director Courtney Kalashian participated in California Energy Efficiency Coordinating Committee (CAEECC) meetings. Mrs. Kalashian and Program Administrator Sarah Farell participated in the Public Sector Meeting on May 2, 2016 in San Diego. • SJVCEO Program Administrator Samantha Dodero continued Kill-A-Watt Krackdown program administration. • The monthly Partnership Meeting was held on May 19, 2016 at the Tulare County Government Plaza in Visalia. • Implementing partner worked with City of Tulare to design a Revolving Loan Fund. • Implementing partner began planning efforts for October 2016 community outreach events. • SJVCEO Executive Director Courtney Kalashian participated in planning efforts for the June 2016 SEEC Forum in Riverside. • SJVCEO Executive Director Courtney Kalashian participated in the CPUC StAG meeting. • Implementing partner worked with City of Visalia to compile an ENERGY STAR certification application for the Transit Center. Key Issues or Emerging Concerns: • None. Upcoming Milestones • The next monthly Partnership Meeting will be July 21, 2016 at the Tulare County Government Plaza in Visalia. • The annual SEEC Forum will be held on June 14 – 16 in Riverside, CA.
