San Joaquin Valley Partnership Program September 2015 Focus: San Joaquin Valley kWh and peak kW reductions This Month’s Major Accomplishments: • The monthly VIEW Partnership meeting was held on September 17th at the Tulare County Government Plaza. • Implementing Partner spoke with SCG benchmarking team to address Energy Star Portfolio Manager issues with meter shares and data access. • Implementing Partner participated in Rural Hard to Reach (RHTR) conference calls with working groups for EM&V and Local Government Partnerships. • SJVCEO Executive Director Courtney Kalashian worked with SLO Energy Watch to plan the Central California and Central Coast LGP Meeting that will take place October 8th in Paso Robles. • SJVCEO Executive Director Courtney Kalashian presented to US Small Business Administration members – including those from Fresno, Tulare, Kings, and Kern Counties – about “Energizing Energy Efficiency Lending and Projects”. • Implementing Partner met with the Peer to Peer to discuss billing issues, programs and meetings. • SJVCEO Program Administrator Sarah Farell began SCG benchmarking for the County of Kings and the Cities of Lindsay, Hanford and Dinuba. • SJVCEO Program Administrator Samantha Dodero completed Kill-‐A-‐Watt Krackdown outreach with the City of Hanford. • SJVCEO Program Administrator Samantha Dodero conducted outreach and created marketing materials for October Community Outreach events throughout the VIEW territory. • Implementing Partner participated in the Tulare County Health Fair on September 23rd. Upcoming Milestones • The next meeting will be held on October 15th at Tulare County’s RMA Plaza in Visalia. • There will be community outreach events in October for the County of Tulare and the Cities of Farmersville and Home Garden.
