San Joaquin Valley Partnership Program November 2016 Focus: San Joaquin Valley kWh and peak kW reductions This Month’s Major Accomplishments: • Implementing Partner participated in the Rural Hard to Reach (RHTR) meetings and working group coordination. • SJVCEO Executive Director Courtney Kalashian participated in California Energy Efficiency Coordinating Committee (CAEECC) meetings and her duties as Co-Chair of the Public Sector group. • SJVCEO Program Administrator Samantha Dodero continued Kill-A-Watt Krackdown program administration. • The monthly VIEW Partnership meeting was held on November 17, 2016 at the Tulare County Government Plaza in Visalia. • Implementing partner engaged with the Peer to Peer working group to discuss partnership logistics and share best practices. • Implementing partner compiled and submitted comments for the CPUC EM&V Study as part of the RHTR Working group. • Implementing partner began planning efforts for the VIEW! the Success Luncheon, which will be held on January 19, 2017 at the Vintage Press in Visalia. • Implementing partner met with NOAA to discuss partnering opportunities with VIEW to improve data and access for EE/resiliency planning on municipalities. • City of Hanford put a hold on moving forward with the City’s EAP due to an impending General Plan Update and new City Council members. Key Issues or Emerging Concerns: • None. Upcoming Milestones • The next monthly Partnership Meeting will be in February 2017 at the Tulare County Government Plaza in Visalia. • The VIEW! the Success Luncheon will be held at the Vintage Press in Visalia on January 19, 2017.
