Welcome Samantha Dodero, SJVCEO, welcomed everyone to the meeting and briefly did an overview of agenda items. Partnership Business Program News Regulatory Updates SD, SJVCEO, stated not a lot has taken place since the meeting last month other than IOU’s are preparing for RFP’s. Paulo Morias, SCG, stated that IOU budgets were filed in the beginning of September. Any other regulation items will be discussed in the IOU feedback portion of the meeting. Upcoming Meetings SD, SJVCEO, stated that she hopes everyone is happy with the new meeting format for the partnership. Our partnership meeting will be on 11/15/18 in Kings County. If anyone does not have that on their calendar, then please talk to her to get one forwarded. Also, the CenCal Workshop is going to be held on 10/18/18 in SLO. The partnership already has four (4) attendees with up to $150 of travel cost covered. Progress toward “Courtney’s Golden Challenge” This item is just a place holder for each meeting in case there are any changes and or new tier level updates. IOU Feedback: SCG would like to hear from VIEW partners During this portion SD and Rochelle Thomas were asked to leave the room for the discussion. Paulo Morias lead the discussion with partners. Presentations and Q&A: Outreach and 2019 Planning SD, SJVCEO, stated that the partnership is looking to plan for outreach in 2019. 2018 has been a busy year and has a mixture of outreach events. SD stated some of the event titles in hopes of stirring creativity from the partners. For 2019 the partnership hopes to participate in outreach events all throughout the year and not just solely in the month of October. PM, SCG, asked a stirring question of partners, “do counties have hospitals or etc. that they own?” Each of the counties in attendance stated that they do not own hospitals or others. They did however state that each of those entities have outreach events that may be beneficial for the partnership. events. SD, SJVCEO, asked if he can send an introductory email on her behalf so that duplicate efforts are not made in any of these outreach events. Tulare and Kings County both stated that they can connect us to given contacts that host events for 2019. They also stated that it may be nice to just have IOU collateral at those organizations that have clientele that can benefit from programs. SD, SJVCEO, stated that it is a great idea and one that is very easy to implement. She will be circling back with each county contact to get the ball moving. Wrap Up Meeting review: Action Items Bill Rock, SCE, to connect Samantha Dodero, SJVCEO, with the college outreach contact. Other Business: Upcoming events Frank Yanes, SCE, announced the upcoming SCE water conference in Tulare that will be happening on 11/8 from 8AM – 1PM. Paulo Morias, SCG, announced the upcoming SCG food service equipment expo in Irwindale on 10/23 – 10/24. Concluded at 11:30 a.m.
