SITE
01 Bnaid Alqar District, Kuwait In this project I was involved from the pre- concept stage. I was responsible for creating concept diagrams for the modular design and also showcasing the sustainable aspects of the project. I was involved in the 3d modeling and was also required to set up the revit files from scratch. I was required to form a report and work on the area plans of different options. This was a commercial complex which included office, residential, hospitality and medical typologies. I had to also create a report documenting the entire project with the two options.

02 The Grove, Abu Dhabi The Grove is an authentic cultural district that complements and enriches the three museums at Saadiyat Island. It is the connective fabric that gives identity to the city and creates spaces where culture can thrive. In this project I was given the responsibility of collaborating with M.E.P and landscape consultants. I also produced S.D and D.D level drawings which include RC plans, sitewide sections, floor plans etc. I was also in charge of the ADA report and exporting renders through Enscape.

AL KHOR AL KHOR AL KHOR
This competition project called for proposing three FIFA Fan Village master plans at three different loThe Beach TheCamp Beach TheCamp Beach Camp cations in Qatar. Along with the master planning of the fan villages Killa Design was also proposing to design different art installations that were going to AL KHOR be present within these fan Villages. I had helped The Beach Camp in the design process compiling precedents which was inspired by the spatial arrangement existing in the Burning man and Coachella Music Festival. In addition to this, I was also given the responsibility of creating the design book for this project and developing content for the report.

06 La Casa: Affordable Housing This project was for the Multi-Comfort Saint Gobain Competition, 2019. The project required to be innovative, sustainable, energy-efficient and aligned with the Multi-Comfort criteria. The site is in a poignant square next to a metro station in the city of Milan. The project consisted of 3 separate plots. For the first Plot, we had to develop an affordable housing complex with retail on the ground. In the second Plot, we needed to create a street market. Lastly, we had to renovate an existing building. My partner and I divided the plots among ourselves. I was in charge of the complete design and execution of Plot A and design of Plot B. I proposed an affordable housing complex focussing on energy conservation along with an interactive facade design that would allow every occupant to control the amount of daylight entering their apartment. This feature would enable the elevation to change throughout the day, thereby making it a dynamic design while keeping the whole design cohesive. 07 A Multi Faith Complex In The City Of Dubai The Multi-Faith complex is a symbolic gesture to unite the world and to represent the inclusive spirit of Dubai. The idea was to develop a complex that would transmogrify into a cultural melting point within the city, which would further have the potential to develop into a typology that could be replicated in different localities for the enhancement of community well-being. Multiple precedents on existing Multi-Faith rooms and Inter-Faith complexes around the world assisted me with obtaining a clear understanding of the planning of such spaces. Besides that, studies on the Baha’i faith helped to identify appropriate programmes to include in the design. Following these studies, the built environment was designed to bring about a sense of distinction to the whole complex whilst being bound together by the axes of the focal point.

Apart from the main multi faith hall the presence of the welcome center, teaching centre, the dining hall and the indoor sensory forest provide the ideal conditions to cultivate this complex. One can access these spaces from the podium and other external spaces, as well as from the parking beneath the podium if they want to avoid the extreme heat during summers. The podium aslo acts as a spillout area for these spaces. 27

08 Reinv igorating Spaces: Al Rashidiya Al Rashidiya is one of the oldest residential suburbs in Dubai. Al Rashidiya metro station is one of the main metro and bus depot area in Dubai, thousands of people utilize this space everyday. The project aimed to transform the existing monotonous suburb into an efficient locality by increasing legibility and way-finding in the area. New green zones and street markets were incorporated to achieve a more human centric design. The metro station area was re-imagined to be more Strategies to prevent flooding were also provided as the locality is prone to flooding due to lack of efficient drainage systems.

09 Moonshine Cafe In today’s world running a successful cafe or restaurant means offering more than just good food. The interiors will create an experience for the customers. A rustic modern style will be employed which will take elements from the rustic style and reinvigorate them. The moonshine offers just that. It is a cafe which focuses on the young and provides them a place to socialize, meet up for work, or just relax whilst being served delicacies.
