Meet the locals. We caught up with Cirilo & Gisela Calabio, brand new parents who are looking forward to spending their first Chistmas as a family in their brand new home at Woodlinks Village. Why did you decide to purchase at Woodlinks Village, over other master-planned communities? We were looking for a community that is close to school, work, church and our friends. We fell in love with the location and estate at first sight, it ticked all of the boxes for us. During the sales presentation, Martin was not just selling us a piece of land, but a place, a part of a community that we could call home.
The Jackson’s are a young family that have just moved into their recently completed new home. We caught up with Andrew and Joan to chat about why they selected Woodlinks Village for their family.
What are you most excited to see at Woodlinks in the coming years?
What’s your favourite thing about living in Woodlinks Village?
We would love to be apart of a community event, that will allow people to share food, markets, family fun and cultural activities.
We are blessed to have bought a block that is facing a conservatory (trees) which is exactly what we were after.
We’ve heard you love to cook. What will be the first dish you cook in your new home? We certainly do! We would serve pancit molo for starter, chicken adobo & stir fry for main with rice and leche flan for dessert.
What are you most looking forward to when your new home is ready to move into at Woodlinks? We expect a peaceful, safe and diverse community; and to be involved in the Village activities that promotes love, acceptance and harmony. What area of your new home do you think you’ll spend the most time in? Kitchen, dining and living area where we can cook, entertain friends and bond as family.

What’s the most convenient thing about Woodlinks? We cannot emphasize enough how Woodlinks features its accessibility to necessities a family or an individual will require to sustain quality living. These include hospitals, schools for the young and major shopping/grocery chains.
Why did you decide to purchase at Woodlinks Village, over other master-planned communities? We thoroughly looked around at other master-planned communities for many months and Woodlinks Village won our hearts. We love its proximity to necessities e.g. surrounded by schools, parks, shopping malls and especially the motorway. Convenience to these resources were our priority as a family unit. It was a bonus that Martin Joris, the sales consultant we met that day we went to the sales office greeted us with warmth and dealt with us professionally and patiently accommodated our questions. That very same day we decided, we want to build at Woodlinks. Would you recommend moving into Woodlinks to your family and friends? If so, why? Yes, definitely! Woodlinks’ community attributes a sense of belongingness and diversity which are equally important in our civic life. All amenities anyone could ask for are a little drive away!
Overall, how did you find the land purchasing and building experience? Being first timers in land purchase and building a home, we initially had a lot of uncertainties and apprehension. We knew we want to build our home but didn’t know where to begin. We have been fortunate to have dealt with Martin (sales) who have genuinely catered to our land-purchase-home-build dilemmas and took us through the process involved. We have been to many other sales offices and we haven’t been treated that way. The purchase of the land was a breeze with a lot of support from Martin and the build went smoothly with no dramas. We were kept informed of progress and next steps. We have been confident in the builder we have had (Resi Design Homes) and we can say, we are truly blessed we have met these people! Overall, we can say we have been well looked after the entire process. All we need to do now is to enjoy our beautiful home and further explore the beautiful surrounding community.
