MASTER OF SCIENCE IN FINANCE PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The Master of Science in Finance (MSF) is a full-time, 11-month program that prepares students for a career in finance, trading, portfolio management, and more. With an emphasis on hands-on learning and professional development, the MSF program combines a solid foundation in finance with exposure to the areas reshaping finance today.

The 30-credit MSF curriculum balances foundational courses in financial theory and principles with the opportunity to explore your interests through a wide variety of electives. The program is designed to enable you to gain the exposure and skills most relevant to your intended career path within finance.

The Villanova MSF program is STEM-designated, meeting governmental criteria as an approved field of study in science, technology, engineering or mathematics. International students who complete the MSF and are working in their direct field of study are eligible to apply for a potential STEM OPT visa extension to gain up to an additional 24 months of work experience.
WHO SHOULD APPLY
Students from all majors are encouraged to apply. Work experience is not required, but it is a favorable addition to a student’s application.

The academic year tuition for the entire program is $52,500.
