Carbon credits are credits that landowners can receive in exchange for establishing and managing vegetation on land which results in high levels of carbon sequestration. These credits are then sold in an open market set up for that purpose. This seminar will review the concept, describe the involvement of land managers in eastern Ontario and present an example of carbon credits in practice. We hope you’ll join us!
