ENVIRONMENTAL CENTER Architectural Design - Prof. Lia Dikigoropoulou Fall 2008 This project was to develop an unused site located in a developing area of Florida. The program for the site called for an educational building to teach awareness in the environment. The site featured 3 large trees that were to be untouched, so it was a challenge to develop the building within those constraints. What was developed was a spanish style complex with a courtyard in the middle, surrounded by an auditorium, an administration building, classrooms and a dining hall and visitors center.

CULTURAL CENTER Architectural Design - Prof. Barbara Mishara Fall 2009 The Cultural Center project was a designed to go in downtown Brooklyn. It was on an awkward triangular site that was fairly large. There is a major traďŹƒc in this area so there were some dierent ways to go about it. I chose to make a main entrance that was the focal point for the building. The Cultural Center project was to appeal to the local artists and community groups. It has a restaurant as well as many exhibit spaces with varying heights and locations throughout the building. There is also a roof garden with classrooms and a theater.

Agüeybaná sPA Agüeybaná, whose name means "The Great Sun", lived with his tribe in Guaynia (Guayanilla), located near a river of the same name, on the southern part of the island. All the other Caciques were subject to and had to obey Agüeybaná, even though they governed their own tribes. Agüeybaná WAS THE MOST POWERFUL CACIQUE IN BORIKEN.
AGUEYBANA SPA Architectural Design - Prof. Ilya Azaroff Spring 2010 Agueybana, meaning “The Great Sun”. This was the name that I decided on when I was told to design a spa. I decided on the name Agueybana because it was a great chief of the Taino Indians. Before we even thought about designing for this project. we had to study in depth. our own cultural background. For this project we were given a pre-determined building with the option of buying out the next door space or keeping it to the minimum space. This was one of my first challenges when dealing with a pre-determined space. My design featured a waterfall throughout the entire building. It was based after a Puerto Rican folktale about a little girl who planted a seed that grew a tree with fruit. Two men fought over the fruit, and it fell down the mountain and split in two. Then the waters rushed out of it, and created the islands of puerto rico.

HIGHLINE STAIR RE-DESIGN Urban Design - Prof. Kevin Hom Fall 2010 This project was to re-design one of the existing stairways connected to the renovated Highline. The Highline is a huge project that is underway in the West Chelsea area of Manhattan. The area features many unique art galleries and I played o on the type of avant-garde art by being radical with my shapes, but still maintaining a sense of space and achieving the program goals.

We were given a “what if” scenario of us owning our own Architectural firm in an old warehouse in the historical section of redhook. This was a complete interior job from head to toe. Originally I wanted a large firm of 100+ employees. But after working the seating plan three times, I realized that fitting that many employees in that space was going to be impossible. I definitely learned how strenuous it can be to plan a space.

HIGHLINE RESIDENTIAL BUILDING Urban Design - Prof. Kevin Hom Fall 2010 This residential project was our final project of the semester. It called for a building to be designed right up against the highline structure. It had to fit very stringent zoning regulations. The first three floors was a mandatory retail space with a 35 to 40 foot street wall. I chose to put an apartment building on the lot.

COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY MEDICAL CENTER DINING ROOM Mancini Duffy Architecture & Design - 2011 While working at MDNY, I worked on this project briefly. It was a proposal for Columbia Universities Medical Center Dining Room. I did the 3D Modelling and Renderings. I had very little to work off of. I wasn’t able to make a site visit so I did all of the modelling based off of pictures.
