Show the demos from mobile via screencaster (Help needed from MS - Daniel?) Show a motivational video at the beginning Open registration to double the amount of people we can host (50% drop rate Daniel mentioned was very precise!) Feedback from developers: avoid having two hackathons on the same date Talk about cloud (Azure) More senior developers and technical experts from MS to go around the room and answer technical questions (Daniel and Alice) Use a forum to continue the discussions even after the hackathon within the group and facilitate networking (Facebook? Linkedin? http://www.grouptweet.com/?)
From AT&T Developer Programs • Lightning Talks: Less Talk, More Code • 6+ hours of coding • Sponsor provided sample code base to work from • Encourage interaction and mingling throughout the day through stronger Twitter integration into the event (Maybe use http://www.grouptweet.com/) • 15 minute pitch session with Twitter hashtag in the morning to share ideas • Provide 10 page auto forwarding powerpoints to prevent overtime pitches.
