Get Connected in this Crisis

These continue to be strange days for all of us. In addition to the difficulties we’re facing – sickness, isolation, job loss – many of us are experiencing waves of emotions. Some days are okay, others not so much. Every one of us is experiencing stress and coping with it in different ways. The CDC recommends a few ways of coping including, taking breaks from the news, taking care of your body, making time to unwind, and connecting with others. They suggest you “Talk with people you trust about your concerns and how you are feeling.” We agree! It’s important to talk with God and people you trust about how you are doing. First Peter 5:6-8 encourages us to “Cast all your anxiety on [God] because he cares for you.”

Our Vineyard Columbus staff team has been making thousands of calls to our church family over the past couple weeks. We’ve been reaching out to talk, pray, and let you know that we love you and care for you. If you would like prayer, please send in your prayer request on our new website. Consider making calls like these to you family, friends, and neighbors. Let them know you care about them and ask how you can pray for them.

We’re still not gathering in our physical spaces. But even in this time of physical distancing, we’re creating spaces to connect together. It’s important for your spiritual and emotional health to engage with the Lord and others instead of remaining totally isolated.

Please join us weekday mornings at 8 am for a morning devotion and prayer led by one of pastors. We have small groups meeting virtually to study the Bible, talk, and pray with each other. Our campuses are creating connection points on their Facebook pages. Below are many of the ways we are staying connected as a church family. You can always stay up to date on what we are doing through our updated website.

Beyond our weekend services, we have a variety of engaging events on Facebook Live. Even if you don’t have a Facebook account, you can watch our live videos on your computer.

Small Groups

We also have small groups meeting throughout the week through video calls. If you are interested in joining a small group, fill out the connect card and be sure to check the small groups box. We’re ready to connect with you and start the conversation!

Midpoint is a great way to get started with a small group. We meet on Zoom for worship and a teaching, then breakout into small video chat groups for conversation and prayer. The next session runs from May 28th-July 16th on Thursday nights at 6:30 online. If you are a part of East, La Viña, Lane or Sawmill Campus, there are several other connection points throughout the week on each campus Facebook page. You can find the campus online events schedule on our website or just like and follow each campus on Facebook.

Kids and Students

Lastly, we are creating spaces for our kids, students, and young adults to connect. Our new website has helpful information and links. Help keep your kids and students connected to the church!
