Project Update: Environmental & Demolition Environmental HUD reviewed and approved environmental assessment of site conditions on June 2012. Demolition NYCHA-HPD are collectively moving forward with the demolition of the three remaining towers. Breeze National Inc. was selected to do the demolition work. The contract between HPD and Breeze National Inc. was approved by the Office of the NYC Comptroller in April 2013 General Demolition Schedule • HPD issues Notice to Proceed: May 2013 • 1765 Prospect Place Asbestos abatement end date: October 2013 • 1765 Prospect Place demolition end date: December 2013 (tentatively) • Demolition of all other buildings end date: June 2014
