A Concert for Ukraine

PHOTOGRAPHY BY SAM MIDDLETON In response to Russia's invasion of Ukraine, Alexandriabased Classical Movements held its spring seasonopening performance in solidarity with Ukraine. The concert served as a fundraiser, with a portion of ticket sales being donated to various Ukrainian relief organizations. Musicians from the National Symphony and the Washington National Opera/Kennedy Center Opera House Orchestra were joined in their performance by Ukrainian violinists Zino Bogacheck and Natasha Bogachek, violist Eric DeWaardt and cellist Loewi Lin.
